Or an update on democracy in Venezuela. Why hasn't there been a headline on any of that in ages?

How many civilians were killed? What's the damage to US bases? How many troops have been injured? There's plenty to actually report about the war, but instead the media gives us a minute-by-minute update of every word a known pathological liar says, which is just an insane thing to do when your job is to report things that are true.

Dawk's right. He should've been ignored years ago. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he's President. He wasn't President for 4 years and we still heard about it every time he farted. And it's not even for entertainment purposes anymore. His schtick stopped being entertaining years ago. Now it's repetitive and boring. And we have an educated population. People have a million times more access to information than they ever have. Doesn't matter. We have an incredibly stupid population, which won't change with education. That's the problem and it's an unsolvable one. Consequently, the media needs to hold themselves responsible and stop feeding our incredibly stupid population terrible information.
