Can you eject from a helicopter like you can a jet? From Google AI:The AH-64 Apache does not have ejection seats. Military helicopters generally omit them because their primary emergency survival maneuver is autorotation (gliding down safely using unpowered spinning rotors), making ejection too complex and hazardous. If they lose power but still have main rotor blades, they can auto rotate to the ground, but even done correctly, it’s a hard landing.

June 9Jun 9 Pretty sure this is a false flag. Trump just told Bibi he may soon be on his own if he's not careful. Surely Isreal downed this chopper to draw Trump fully back in. The timing is too coincidental.

The Russians treat them more like conventional aircraft, flying them faster and higher than the U.S. Army does. America tends to operate its helos much lower and slower, often in a hover, making a shoot down more survivable. At one point the U.S. Army did look at buying the AH-56 Cheyenne, which was a helo that would have operated in the Russian manner but cancelled the project for a multitude of reasons.

If this was actually downed by Israel, the best thing Iran could do is deny that this was their doing, and blame Israel and thus create a potential crack in our alliance with Israel and strengthen Iran's chances.
