The wife aboard the Lincoln "said her husband was in the water for an hour before he was rescued from what she described as a suicide attempt.”. There’s a bit of questions here. He treaded water for an hour before rescue. More importantly it took an hour to save someone from being overboard ?

man, if that doesn't prove the amount of respect trump's real leadership brings, nothing will.

I mean those things don't exactly turn on a dime and it's hard to see people bobbing in the open ocean.

The amount of time that crew has been out is absolutely bonkers, though.

For reference, in WWII, your average carrier was at sea 2-3 months before coming back to a rear port or somewhere in Australia.

Is the Straight of Hormuz the new 51st state?

Yup, for the low sticker price of 35 to 50 billion dollars....one full time carrier battle group sitting there forever lmao

These people seriously can’t look at themselves in the mirror and feel good. They just can’t

I read he had a life jacket on but who knows. When I served we used two life jackets one the standard bulky orange one the other was the mark v which was salt water activated. We had separate colors for flight crews. They all come equipped with reflecting tape, dye markers a whistle and a light. I was on a rhib boat crew we trained for man overboard scenarios if it was at night the chances of finding someone is low. Daylight on a carrier 1 hour is pretty reasonable. As soon as man overboard is called the conning officer on the bridge would have the helmsman do a tear drop maneuver so they could get back to the nearest point of the man overboard. To assemble a boat crew and get in the water is dependent on each ship but we were always on alert for those situations.

Life is stressful during underways but I’m finding the conditions on the carrier to be a little overblown. Yes toilets get clogged because idiots throw paper towels down the drain or for a number of other reasons and sometimes if we hadn’t done an unrep or hit port in a while food rations would be a little less but we’re talking about a crew of 5000-7000 so it’s a small minority causing an uproar. Sailors are made for ships and ships are made for sea.

Ah, a nice little bit of anti-semitism to brighten up the day, right?

What's anti-semetic about calling out individuals?

You're opposed to a dumb, expensive, and poorly-explained war initiated because Trump wants to do a solid for his buddy Bibi? You're practically a Schutzstaffel, Himmler.

I get a bit curious as to why @Procus spends a part of each day trying to prove to an Eagles message board that he is the stupidest MF'er on the planet.

I remember the whole run-up to the 2024 election, he kept shouting, "America first, but Israel first also." "Jared Kushner should have real estate projects in Gaza." "Gas should be more expensive." Seemed strange at the time, but clearly he knows what's up.

Don't mind the dimwitted MAGA from Florida with delusions of grandeur.

He's among the biggest morons here.

"If you don't agree with Netenyahu, it must be because you are anti semitic" is just as lazy and retarded as...well as everything else you post.
