The state as a whole is R+5. Even if that feels low and we grant it R+8, you can't mathematically draw 25 of 28 districts with double digit margins.

the proposed gerrymander would make a lot more counties "lean Republican", but also competitive. which makes them vulnerable in years where Democrats are overperforming and Republicans underperforming .. like 2026.
