Would rather watch these drive in circles all halftime instead of Kendrick Lamar.

Let’s stop with the Morrow gaslighting. He stinks. He was cut twice this year and was a free agent in the early offseason. And when he did play for the Bills it was less than 50 defensive snaps all year. He’s only back because the coaches have some vague familiarity with him.

Absolutely this. But this is a totally understandable move - you aren't going to find a heck of a lot better than that on the scrap heap at this time of the year.

Hopefully, he doesn't get the field outside of ST. We are in trouble if we are having to turn to him either because of injury or because Trotter Jnr / Burks stink up the joint.

NFL.COM's pre-Playoff prediction bracket. How'd they do so far?

Not so good.  No Bucs and no Chargers.  As a result this weekend’s matchups are a bit scrambled in the NFC

Our only Lombardi came while Wentz was on his rookie deal at $6.5M AAV and Nick Foles was on a 2 year deal at $11M total.  Money management certainly helped …..

….. but so did dumping Chase Daniel’s worthless arse to bring in a better #2 QB!!

All that ignores the reality that Jerry Jones wins the financial trophy every year.

Worse?  I'm not sure about that.

Who would you be looking to add?

Not this year.

long term I agree with you and @TEW

Just about all of these QBs are overpaid. One could say, Hurts was robbed in 2022 when he made only $1.5M per year and the years before that. Again, he was playing hurt last year. Had a concussion recently and now we wait for the Real Jalen Hurts. No excuses....

We’ve been waiting for Super Bowl Jalen for a long time now. It’s not going to return.. he’s the only thing holding back our all world offense..

Would you like help answering the question orrrr

No, it’s a stupid question that doesn’t need answering.

Mahomes is already one of the greatest QBs to ever play the sport of football, who has put up some of the most prolific passing seasons in pro football history. He could retire tomorrow and he’d be a first ballot hall of famer.

Hurts is Trent Dilfer with some running ability.

The fact that you are comparing them at all is silly and you know it.

... and that isn't "silly?"

Dilfer's career passer rating is just over 70. He never broke the 60% completion barrier in a season. He has more career INTs, than TDs. You can compare anybody you want, but when you compare Dilfer to Hurts, Hurts looks even more amazing if Dilfer is some sort of bar. Tell us more about "silly" please.

It's pretty clearly a mental health issue. The guy needs help or he is writing chapter two in the Antonio Brown book on life planning

I would say it is anything but clear.

On paper, for whatever it’s worth, this team is more talented position by position give or take a few than 2017’s roster and it was put together with Hurts on a mega contract. A majority of that is because they’ve drafted very well the past three years and struck gold with Baun on a smaller deal. But Hurts’s deal hasn’t prevented them from re-upping DeVonta, Mailata, CJGJ, Dickerson, AJ, and signing Saquon.

Trent actually won a Super Bowl. Maybe I was too quick to put Hurts in such rarified company. My mistake.

Even this year. The opportunity cost of Hurts vs $50M worth of other players exists.

So did Sudfeld.

I would too … as long as Vic sees it that way.  In Vic I trust.

The better comparison for Hurts would be 2002 Brad Johnson for Tampa. Dilfer was terrible. Johnson was efficient for Tampa who played well, not out of this world, and rode the coattails of his defense. Hurts almost has identical passing stats to Brad Johnson in 2002 (with three less games).

Going on a willy different direction for the Rams hype video.  Not even sure it can be classified as a hype video, it will be very abstract.

Dude lost his job and got banned for life.

Ok. What I want to know is what they did as part of it? Dude went into the stadium with a body cam. You don't do that unless you are looking for trouble and clicks on social media. Was she talking trash? Did the camera guy antagonize? What led up to that? Seems like there was more leading up to gotcha "I've got it" moment.

Where are you getting $50 million?  Hurts is only $13,558,800 this year and $21,769,800 in 2025.

I’d say the closest, most recent equivalent to what the Eagles are trying to achieve is the 2015 Broncos, who won a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning coming back from injury for the playoffs and putting up rather meagre passing numbers upon his return.  The Broncos were able to win with a league-leading defense which dominated in the championship game.

The bad news?  I don’t think the Eagles are going to face a QB and team as historically overrated as Cam Newton and the Panthers were that year.

WTF!!!!
