TJ might be more extreme.  Actually, Diehard is likely the most extreme.  But there's a spectrum of people on the Hurts' discussion topic.  You are definitely on the opposite side of the debate... maybe not the most extreme, but definitely the most outspoken.

Hot and smart

When Brandin Brooks pulled and smashed him in the head on that Thursday night game (when he thought he was a free rusher) I think that ended his career.  I know he played a year or 2 more, but when he was crying being carted off, it was a sad day for Pampers fans.  My current wife was my girlfriend at the time and she's a rabid Panthers fan, and I re-winded and demonstrated how amazing that block was to her multiple times.  She loved that!

How is calling him a scum, trash or worthless wishing injury on him? I've said multiple times qb1 is ass. Am I wishing him an injury with that comment?

"Hey Hurts! You're a worthless, trash, POS, scumbag! Why are you even in the NFL? But I hope you never get hurt, now go out there and get em, sweetie. kthxluvyabai!"

If the snow comes stafford played in the lions in that eagles/lions snow game back in 2013. Lane might be the only active eagles player (Graham but he’s hurt) to have played in that game. Slay was on the lions as a rookie but i don’t think he was active.

My wife just left town to go to Wilmington for her cousin's 30th (SIL was just here).  I'm sitting here drinking Truly's because that is the only thing in the fridge, and I'm gonna go meet one of the other daycare dads at a bar until I have to pick up the girls.

Unless you are referring to escorts, maybe lay off the booze there, Father of the Year... 😉

I share the same opinion with you on Hurts and almost everything you said.  It's agonizing to me that he is not a good passer, and the NFL demands an elite passer to win championships, especially with all of the rule changes.  Not throwing for 3,000 yards in a season right now is completely unacceptable.  I don't care what Barkley did.  That's insane to me.  I'm not over it like you are, but at least there's an out in Hurt's contract after next season.  However, I also don't like the idea of starting all over at that position.

The only point you make that I don't necessarily agree with is that Howie can't defy reality.  I have 3 long reasons for that.

1) 90% of the league GM's are chewing their fingernails with puckered up buttholes because they think they're going to get fired.  None of them are making moves to help their franchise years down the road like Howie has recently done to build up this stellar roster.  They are trying to win now to keep their jobs. Howie has the biggest safety net in football.

2) Lurie is definitely one of the best owners in sports, and he obviously understands how to manipulate the cap with cash forward and lawyer lingo nonsense that Howie takes care of.  I look at a team like Dallas, where it was honestly criminal that they waited to sign Dak as long as they did, and it has ruined their team. It's like 30 out of 32 owners don't understand the cheat code, or they're insanely cheap (or maybe just not liquid like that idiot Raiders owner).

3) Everyone keeps saying 250m QB for Hurts, but the way his contract is structured will never puncture this team.  We have an out after next season if need be, and even next year his cap is not a big hit compared to other mediocre QBs.  I can't remember exactly what his cap hit is next year - I'll leave that to @paco and company, but I know Danny Dimes is a bigger hit on the Giants cap than Hurts is for us next year.

I truly don't care how we win, and I really do think we are gonna kill the Rams at home this weekend.  I criticize Hurts aggressively because he is agonizing to watch with this loaded roster.  Sheesh - even his 2 TD's last weekend (The first he had 7 seconds to throw in the pocket.  7!  And he probably would have had more.  The 2nd was an awful throw again to Goedert and he beat up 3 people to get into the end zone).  However, moving forward, I don't know if this formula of "stacked roster" is good enough to beat Detroit or anyone in the AFC.  If we win with Hurts playing terrible for the next 3 games, I couldn't care less.

Also, @mikemack8 let's his pomeranian eat peanut brittle from his butthole after he gets a Brazilian from a guy named Theo.

There is no such thing as correct.  There are many different possible correct answers to most questions.

Should the board chip in and get you a prostitute or something?  You definitely need some sort of release.

He had to have played unless he got hurt. I'm almost positive he was a day one starter for the Lions.

I've seen a few sites now favoring the Eagles to win the SB after last week's win. Still think all those injuries will eventually bite the Lions in the arse. Handle your business Sunday and move on to the next game

People have called him a scumbag, trash, worthless, etc and on multiple occasions have said something to the effect of "with our roster, we could win it all but only if he gets hurt".  Come on, you're either trolling like HE or you're just blind to it because you agree.

Dude, nobody on this forum hates Hurts more than me. I don't even think the only way to win is with him getting hurt. Could they win with McKee? Yeah, the offense may even look better, but I haven't seen anyone say that the only way we win is if he goes down. I'm rooting for him and I think he'll have a bounce back game. Stop telling the guy he's trolling for saying nah to your post.

Zeitler out. Wonder if he plays next week. Happened end of the Vikings game 2 weeks ago

 Didn't you just write a novel on the history of Howie and Lurie's relationship, and something about peanut brittle being on the menu for your date night with mikemack?

Who called him a scumbag, trash, or worthless, and wished for him to get hurt so we could win?  I'm probably not on here as much as you, but I am curious if someone said that.

Looked it up. Slay was inactive that day. also interesting Kellen Moore was inactive for the lions too lol
