What effect will the snow have on the rush push? The exchange will be less secure but what about the rest?

No more push tush fakes. Thats for next week if really needed but best to save it for the Super Bowl.

Those rankings are very different than the guys in the video posted a few pages ago.

For example they have Mike Green as a top 10 pick in the draft. Sawyer is something like their edge 3.

There are a bunch of guys they haven't got around to watching completely yet though...

Landon Jackson is one of those guys that doesn't quite look the part, but just dominate.  Like a Jokic in basketball or max Crosby as another unathletic looking DE. I think I want that guy on my team. One thing I really see in him is excellent bend. And, he plays the run well.

LJ must have like 35” arms, definitely going to hold the edge in the run game and beat up some OL. Has the body type of a 5T or a base DE, so a bit of a departure from what Vic is doing with Nolan/Jalyx. I’m still in the fastball camp rather then favoring the DT/DE hybrids as we need a replacement for Sweat/Huff for those 3rd down passing situations.

I think Jackson is thin and definitely all DE. He has the skillet to be the Graham replacement.

Show totals climbing for Philly.  Now 5-8 inches expected.  Looks to start coming down around 10am Sunday and kick into high gear around 2pm. Starts to taper off around 8pm.  Crazy timing. It's pretty locked in at this point. Safe travels for those going to the game.  Give yourself a LOT of extra time to get in.

People should be there by 10 or around there.  The major trouble will be getting out in potentially 9" of unplowed lots. Bumper to bumper trying to just creep along in deep snow doesn't sound possible. It's going to be like bumper cars.

Seeing all these Instagram posts of AJ Brown with the author of that book. I have a prediction that nobody will like, but my guess is he’s never even read it. I don’t care about the outlines and highlights.  I just like imagining the conversation when they met:

Authror:  So what part what the most inspirational to you?

AJ Brown: image.gif.90ccf05026e932add4d5553ebba4639c.gif

I’m also sticking by my position on the book thing.  I have no problem with AJ reading it on the sidelines because his coaches and teammates have no problem with it.  If it’s a tool for him getting in the right mindset, then good for him.

But…I don’t care if he’s been reading it all year on the sidelines.  He knows what he’s doing and has been waiting all year for someone in the media to notice and run with it.

Lets recap:

AJ Brown is seen reading a book on the sidelines during a playoff game

Everyone collectively loses their minds

Players back him, pointing out this is just his thing he does to center between drives

Author of said book visits the Eagles and meets AJ.

What % chance is the blog putting on the following:  Much like the team rallying around the dog mask in 2018, multiple Eagles players whip out the book on the sidelines.

That's what happened in 2013. Got out of the stadium and nothing had been plowed yet.  Snow was halfway up my car doors. It took 4 hours to get from the Linc to Newark

I think a lot of us fans should whip out the book during the game.

I remember reading that interview a few years back. Wasn't it when he was in college in the late 70s or early 80s?  And if so, spot on.

But seriously, the dude struggles with mental health.  It's far more likely that its almost a bible to him than him not reading it.

I'm already project managing my Sunday

Step 1: After a layoff from drinking, go to costco today and buy 3 months worth of booze

Step 2: Drink 1 months worth of booze during the game, 75% of it while Ellie naps

Step 3: After the game, make a first pass on shoveling our driveway which is roughly at a 175 degree incline while blacked out

Step 4: Post videos of me falling on my ass, breaking my hip over and over again on whatever TikTok's replacement is going to be

Step 5:

Schmoopie is on some Philly Fan page on facebook and was telling me how they are basically the opposite of us here.  Meaning, they are super supportive and dumb as s***.  Showed me one post that went like this:

"Hey guys!  My husband and son have tickets to the game.  I was wondering after they go in, do you have any suggestions what I can do?"

ok... reasonable.  Sounds like someone who could score 2 tickets and is curious how to get in.

charlie-murphy-wrong.gif

Someone suggests how to get said tickets and she replies with:

"oh, no.  I don't like watching football"

I want to join the group and say "Well then, you can pass the time shoveling everyone out of their space"

Oh don’t get me wrong. I don’t care if he’s reading or pretending to read it.  I agree that as long as it helps him focus and ball out that’s all I care about.

It just brought me back to the LeBron James press conference where he felt it to be necessary to read Malcolm X while reporters were asking him questions. Then one reporter asks him what he likes best about the book and he says "Oh I haven’t started it yet.”  😂

"He should be looking at the tablet!"

🤪

You think there is a chance the NFL will push the game back to Monday?

No…way too late for that anyway.  Besides… The snow is not going to start till close to game time.  I think the only time they would really move a game for weather reasons is if travel was basically going to be impossible prior to the game.  That’s not going to be the case here. Travel will be difficult after the game, but not before.

And it will be euphoric bumper to bumper with a win... and they will need to call in the national guard if they lose.

If I were going, I'd be looking to either take the subway down from one of the garages in Center City... OR, I'd bring a second tailgate of food for the post-game wait in the parking lot.

Correct... and very much heading back that way again, sadly.

Snow could be a disadvantage to us. Cooper Kupp was born in a cave and grew up killing wooly mammoths. He knows what it takes to play in the cold.
