McKee doesn't need to be active to play. They would just have to pull Hurts and blame it on the knee and pull Pickett and blame it on the ribs.

So emergency means you can play if needed?

@vikas83  Your boy Ojomo might've just had the best game of his career, in the biggest game of his career. He made the most of his limited snaps, and I hope he gets even more on Sunday.

He played great. I'm excited about his role on this team growing, but at the same time I still 100% want Milton Williams back. I love nasty DT play. If you can cause problems with the IDL, it makes the DE/OLB job that much easier. Putting OT on an island is one of the best things you can do, provided you have good edge rushers. We're seeing this with Nolan Smith. He's learning how to abuse the RT with his speed. The RG is too busy helping inside.

Carter, Williams, Ojomo draft pick, Booker should be the DT next year. I think Davis gets moved.

Edge should be Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt, BG/Khalil Mack, Draft pick.

I love how this DL is shaping up.

Worth every penny.

That's awesome.

We are a FAR better team than Washington but the two wild card factors of Hurts injury and Daniels antics set the stage for a potential nail biter.

It means if you lose the other two QB's to injury, the emergency QB although technically inactive can enter the game. But once McKee enters, Hurts and Pickett are automatically ruled out.

The only benefit of having McKee active would be if Hurts gets injured and you wanted to put McKee in there instead of Pickett, you would be able to. But you could also make that decision by making Pickett the emergency QB before the game. So McKee will likely be the inactive emergency QB.

The guy really is coming on strong and playing lights out. There isn't nearly as much of a drop off when he comes in for Williams than there was earlier in the season.

Only way he can be relevant is to slander someone. He's a zero talent scumbag.

Yup. Q potentially not being 100% has me concerned also. Wasn’t his best game against McClaurin last time.

Eagles have an incredibly difficult schedule.  They will be competing for a wild card spot.

While the Eagles may not be able to compete for the #1 or #2 spot, it's laughable that you and other are saying because of the schedule, the Eagles need to try and get a wildcard spot.  That is completely incorrect, fact is that all of the NFC East have to play the NFC North and AFC West.  The schedules only differ by 2 or so games.  So...no, the Eagles do not have to hope and pray that somehow they can get lucky enough for the 6th or 7th seed.  The Eagles will probably be fighting for the division with the Redskins.  Win the division, you get the #3 or #4 seed at worst.  But yes, should they not win the division, then it's the #5, #6 or #7 seed.

But how about this, enjoy this run, enjoy this season and jesus, you negative nellies should have a ton to worry about now (you know, Hurst sucks, injuries, Daniels is God, Sirianni is a joke, etc.) before worrying about going 3-14 next year! LMFO

All these guys are currently 27-or-under and signed for next season.

FYI...Becton and Williams are 25, Sweat is 27, Baun is 28.  Only starters over 30 are Slay, Johnson, and Goedert.

Agreed, and when the RG isn't, you get back to back game clinching plays from Jalen Carter singled up on an overmatched C.

Ok but the point was whatever happened in that game isn't likely to happen again.

I think it will be worse for them without their guard. The defense is dominate and consistent, and put them in the spot in Q1. Dean being out will hurt, but Vic is going to make adjustments. He saw what they did at the end of the game against us and what hurt Detroit. I don't think this game ends up being close if Hurts is competent.

From the NFL.  https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-emergency-third-quarterback-rule-questions-and-answers

Q: When is an Emergency Third Quarterback permitted to enter a game?

A: An Emergency Third Quarterback is permitted to enter a game only if the club's two active quarterbacks are unable to play either by disqualification or injury, including for example, if QB1 is unable to play and QB2 is being evaluated for an injury.

Q: After an Emergency Third Quarterback enters a game, are QB1 or QB2 permitted to return to that game?

A: Yes. If either QB1 or QB2 are evaluated for injury and cleared to return, either may re-enter the game.

It's a beautiful thing. For years, I wanted this to be the case when it was Fletcher Cox, Timmy Jernigan, Malik Jackson, Javon Hargrave etc. but it seemed like they only played well in spurts. This DL is EATING. I love it so much.

Now add in that Washington lost Cosmi and will be playing Trent Scott, a tackle who lost his starting job with the Chargers years ago, at RG...and it could be interesting.

I think for the year 90% of the games that shouldn't have been close, have been close

Yes, but then the other 2 QBs cannot re-enter the game.

EDIT: seems they changed the rules from back in the day.

They still need to be careful with their pass rush.  I still think of when the Rams beat us in a playoff game by mush-rushing Cunningham and making him beat them from the pocket.
