This shouldn't be hard.

If Hurts can move, start him.
If he can't run, start McKee.

We talking an actual knee brace or whatever Josh Sweat wears?

We're gonna f'ing gut these guys

No one likes the fuugging commanders. Here in Baltimore, I haven’t seen one Commander fan all week. Eagle fans are everywhere. Go Birds!

I don’t know how to think about Dickerson starting at C. He outweighs Jurgens by like 50 lbs, doesn’t move like him. Steen next to Mailata doesn’t have the same kind of push or chemistry on those combo blocks.

That said, Steen at LG and Dickerson at C is almost definitely better than Dickerson at LG and Nick Gates at C. Just can’t imagine it not making making the offense different.

I think they had a lot of fun shooting that scene.  You can see from the blurred camera that Elaine is laughing when he puts those glasses on, and you can see Lloyd Braun laughing as Kramer bolts for the exit when he's about to vomit after eating that old hot dog.

I don't think Julia Louis-Dreyfus had seen Jerry's haircut before filming this scene, either:

Both great episodes. Jerry in the glasses kills me every time.

If this is Slay's Last Rights preparation as an Eagle. He must be commended for an admirable career. He learned to play Eagle Football, became a leader, and made a few plaaayyyyssss. He's been hobbled and still went out and gamed. Like many mercurial players of note. He too, has had his issue with the media and fans. But, you could never question his dedication to this team, the fans and winning.

BTW: Who is covering Eekler/Robinson out of the backfield on Sunday?

Josh Sweat wears the gear they picked up from the Forrest Gump set.

Riding off into the sunset on a great year if they win the SB would be a good move too. He didn't get pro bowl or all pro but he still had a very nice year when he was healthy

Probably shouldn't play 1 more year if it's not here.  Pretty tough to go out playing this will.

New team. New culture, probably not as enjoyable a here. New defense to learn. New fans, won't be a appreciative/ forgiving if his age starts showing. Probably not a likely to contend for a super bowl.

Risk injury for what?

If he isn't playing here next year just go out on the top of your game.

Who’s turning down millions cause of that?

I really dont care about the list. We know he is capable of so much more. We know there have been a TON of passing yards left on the field by our QB. Not because we ran the ball, but because of the performance of the QB.

Of course you don’t care about the list.  Context is irrelevant to you.

Now, here’s a question for you, why is more passing yards better than what we currently have?  How would more passing yards have improved the outcome of the season?  One more reception from Saquon and one more reception by DeVonta would have added a few more yards and two more wins, but beyond that, where does the improvement on 16 wins come?

If he wants one more and can play like this we should keep him. Or is the cap too punitive?

Every guy under 25 in the DMV grew up a Ravens fan because they actually won and had star players who were entertaining.

The skins fans that still exist were basically forced into it by sadistic parents.

Honestly.... from a cap perspective why not keep him one more year and let him go out in green?

It felt like an old warhorse season from him. He’s been banged up all year but has gutted it out and came up huge in some games like Carolina and last week. I started to sour on him with some of his comments and social media stuff, but he really toughed this season out and has been the ultimate vet.

I probably see more Cowboy fans here and just as many Giant fans.

This is true.  And honestly, many of the older folks gave up too.  When I was working in downtown DC in 2010-2011, the client had a "wear your jersey to work day" and they would take pictures.  The ravens outnumbered the R-words jerseys 60-40  (not including other teams fans, which were by far the minority)

Looks like Hurts is questionable with a hearing injury

My friend jumped ship when they changed the name to Commanders. Haven't talked to him in awhile, wonder if he is a commander fan now lol.

The issue is paying him $16mm for 2025 -- there's no way he gets that on the open mkt. His contract is screwy with the restructuring, but if you keep him for 2025 and let him play it out, the dead cap hit in 2026 will be ~25mm, up from 22.75mm if we cut him this offseason. The trick is we can post June 1 him this offseason and break up that 22.75mm between 2025 (9.5) and 2026 (13.3). If he plays it out, you add ~2.2mm in dead money (16mm cash - 13.8mm cap), but it all hits in 2026 unless you rework again to cut him after June 1, 2026.

The bigger issue is paying him $16mm at his age -- he's never getting that. Cutting it to 9-10mm could work for both sides. Instead of adding ~3mm for the option bonus, you add 1.5mm so his 2025 cap number drops to ~12.2mm. But his dead money is way less because you reduce it by ~3mm (paid 9mm, charged 12.2mm), and then you can post June 1 him in 2026 by adding a BS year.
