The Bills matchup would be the Super Bowl... so in NOLA, a neutral site.

Thanks.  I wasn't thinking that far ahead.

Todd Bowles vs Jalen Hurts

Did Todd come out of retirement?

I think you’re completely missing the point. The Tush Push is a way to tell a team: you can’t stop us. You know it’s coming but you can’t stop it. It’s demoralizing.

The most dominant play in the NFL.

Jalen Carter, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean will bring Eagles fandom at least once to the Promised Land.

My hope is that it happens multiple times.

It has been spoken.

All posted in the last hour.

Almost positive he works for ESPN.  You can't just put that in your name if you aren't working there.  Plus he is verified.

Hitting the brandy a bit early tonight, Matt?

@vikas83 as followup to our back and forth about the 2025 Salary Cap, I figured I should put some of my speculation to some testing.  First I chased down the NFL's revenues history, and found this helpful graph,

2051242030_TotalrevenueofallNationalFootballLeague(NFL)teamsfrom2001to2023.png.15d362eb12a098f3ccc7d8747ba94b2f.png

Then I popped those numbers into a spreadsheet with the annual Base Cap amount.  Since the annual Base Cap is based on the the prior year's revenues I color coded the cells to make it easy to see where the matches are.

2067302212_Screenshot2024-12-06at4_02_59PM.png.9e376db37bfc976dcd779b2eb7e55d8e.png

The match of the respective annual increases from 2015 to 2019 (revenues) with the respective annual increases from 2016 to 2020 (Base Cap) is remarkably close.  The COVID pandemic threw revenues out of whack, and the respective swings in revenues were wilder than the matching swings in Cap ... and the 2024 Cap jumped as much as it did in order to bring things back into alignment.  With the 2024 Cap increase, the Cap Increase from 2020 to 2024 is 28.86% while the revenue increase from 2019 to 2023 is 32.63%.  The additional $10 million that Dan Graziano referenced in his article would bump the Cap increase up from 28.86%  to very close to the 32.63%.

What does that mean for our speculation about the 2025 Base Cap?  One way to look at that is to use @Ace Nova's $286 million number and see what level of revenue would support that number.  The answer to that question is $22.66 Billion.  Now if Graziano is right about the $10 million, then the revenue needed is reduced because only $276 million is "current" and $10 million is "in arrears." A "current" Base Cap of $276 million would require revenues of $21.87 billion ... an 8% increase over 2023.  For context, the 2023 increase over 2022 was 8.8% and the 2022 increase over 2021 was 8.2%.

I'm going for the cycle.  So far I have a single, and a double and a triple.

Verified doesn’t hold as much weight as it used to. You can buy those now

Wait... seriously?

I can't find anything related to that, so probably not

Maxey not even part of the offense tonight yet they’re winning. Pretty much 0 usage. Such a weird team.

Might as well, no chance of winning in Detroit in the playoffs.

They might have the best team since the 99 Rams.

That was week 1 and they were on a historic run at that point.

I still think that Wentz’s career was more impacted by that hit than his ACL. He was still playing well that year carrying the team on his back with no weapons but that was the last straw for him.

What the hell constitutes a historic run in week 1?

He had a lot to deal with mentally like injuries, Foles , the super bowl and the reports of his attitude then like you said boom that hit to the head broke him. He got even weirder after that
