I am not sure what to think about Nix yet. He does not want to push the ball downfield.

Could be a product of Paytons system. He ran a lot of short to intermediate passes in his system with Brees. Although that could of been because Brees didnt have the strongest arm

This is the first time I've seen Nix in extended action outside of a few highlights. He certainly looks the part. Probably will be a good fit for a while in this Sean Payton offense.

When this game started the Eagles, Broncos and Chargers were in a three-way tie for lowest points per game allowed at 17.6.  Now the Eagles stand alone, with the Vikings jumping up from 4th to 2nd.

Anyone know why the Chargers took such deep kneel downs?

Micah is just giving money away. His agent is going to fire him 😂.

Seriously though I don’t see how this plays out well for Parsons. Just go ahead and get paid man, ain’t nobody else going to walk away from the money. Jerry is going to end up giving Micah’s money to a scrub. It’s admirable to see Micah trying to be unselfish, I just think he’ll regret it long term because the DAL FO is sh!t with JJ pulling the strings.

Just killing a few more seconds so Denver doesn’t get any offensive snaps

Thanks.  I’ll need to see the replay.

Redskins/Commanders lead the all time series 89-86-6

The Eagles have been slowly closing in now for 35 years and have won 5 of the last 6.  It often seems like we drop a game to Wash when we shouldn't but it is finally getting close now.

It would be huge to get that win on Sunday so we keep the pressure on Detroit/Minnesota, win the NFC East and also inch closer to flipping the all time series record. We’ve overtaken the Giants, but the Cowboys are still way out of reach at the moment.

Yep, we won't be catching the Cowboys anytime soon but we can move ahead of Wash over the next year or two if we come to play each time we meet them.

I CHOSE VIOLENCE!

the slay fumble recovery bit was hilarious

No not any time soon, but the two franchises are going in totally different directions. At this rate it won’t be as long as some might think. I sense the Cowboys hitting a slides similar to ‘86 - ‘90 and ‘00 - ‘02 the next few years.

Also interesting to note that no cornerback on the Eagles has an INT.

I suppose Brown gets fined every week and we just don't hear about it, since I'm like 99% certain that pink isn't one of the team's Constitutional team colors.

BTW, did Lurie pass a Constitutional amendment to change the colors from Kelly Green to Midnight Green?   Did 3/4 of the states ratify that change?

Getting close.  We passed NYG already and hopefully will do the same to Washington.

Dallas however is still a long ways to go.

This type of year isn't the norm for them.  They might have faltered in the playoffs yearly but they consistently win 10+ games every year.

That’s very surprising, to me at least, considering how well the Eagles D is playing.

Nix missed the out and up throw to his receiver I think more due to his arm than to throwing it late.  Brees also threw a lot of intermediate passes.  Nix's favorite throw was a WR screen or checkdown to a RB.

Agreed.  However, this year does seem different to me somehow.  Jerry is VERY old now and they have some BIG problems so solve which I think will be very difficult for them to deal with moving forward.  I think we are seeing the beginning of a slide for them.

I doubt Brown cares since he's doing it for his kid to see him on the field

The Vikings recent 7-game winning streak does not include a team with a winning record.  Their current SOV is below .400, only higher than the Commanders among the seven current NFC playoff teams.

We answered questions with wins over Was, LA, Bal, and Pit.  It will be interesting to see what the Vikings do over their next three games.

Nah.  They'll clumsily stumble onto a franchise QB like they did with Romo and Dak and be set for another decade.
