Ok.  You're crazy.  Thing is... Smith and Brown have each other to draw the attention of the defense.  You can't double them both.   JJ doesn't have that guy opposite him, so he draws the attention of the defense each and every week... and it still doesn't matter.

Jurgens was absolutely the unsung hero this season and it felt like he flew under the radar. Just an incredible season having to fill the shoes that Kelce left.

What we never saw was exactly what led to all that.  It started long before that.   There was another punt or kickoff where Brown ran the guy all the way to the end zone and they had to be separated.  So, this wasn't an isolated incident.  This was building all game.

I would flat out take AJ over Jefferson. He’s the best WR in the NFL, but he won’t ever get the numbers because of the offense he plays in.

Said this to my wife today in the 2nd half when Barkley was gashing them. Was worried about a drop off from Kelce, and while he’s not quite as good as prime Kelce, the drop off has been minimal.

He does now, and he’s also had consistently average at worst QB play all of his career.  All 3 you can put on an island and iso…they’re still going to eat.  Potato…potato, they’re all 3 great WRs who possess ridiculous route running ability, hands, deceptive deep speed, and ridiculous ability to contest 50/50 balls.  Smith at his size is an anomaly though.

Frankly, aside from one or two bad snaps, I'd say he was amazing.   Dare I say that he might be better this year than Kelce was last year?  Definitely better earlier in his career than Kelce was.

Howie can get some credit but he doesn’t get all the credit for signing "one of the best off ball LB’ers on a vet minimum deal.”

Yes.  1 year of that.  But, even better this year, he was easily the best WR in the NFL.   They are all great... but JJ is still at the top.  Let me put it this way... there's never been a WR that I thought could ever approach Rice... JJ has made me starting to reconsider that it might be possible.   He's done what he's done with Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold.  Rice had Montana and Young before he started to bounce.

Tough to say…from game 1, Kelce was special.  Jurgens has too big of shoes to fill for me to rationally say anything other than I’m happy he’s here.
