The defense already had the line set, just like on offense, but we needed that missing piece to take the whole unit to the next level.

If AJ Brown had Manning throwing him 200 passes per season like Harrison had, Brown would be a 2,000 yard 20 TD receiver every season.

Baun has been amazing for the defense, and a huge reason we’ve seen the turnaround this year compared to last, but I would say Jalen Carter is clearly best player on that side of the ball.

Agreed but QB gets over drafted all the time though, the demand outweighs the supply this year greatly. You have what, 5 or 6 teams in top 10 needing a new QB? Sam Darnold & Kirk will be bridge QB at best. I think teams like Browns, Raiders, Titans, Giants, & Jets will definitely compete with each other at a shot of Ward or Sanders because the alternative is running it back with whatever they have, and what all those teams currently have is bad & ran its course.

It's Quinyon and DeJean.  Our corners re no longer complete trash.  Carter was already the best player on defense as a rookie.

I have Ward as Qb1. Pats have Maye who seems to have potential. 
 

but someone dumb (raiders) will likely move up for Sanders

Jalen doesn't need it.  Barkley for the record would mean playing the starting offensive line too.  Becton got hurt this game, can't have any more OL injuries.   For that reason alone I think starting offense should should sit the entire game.  Don't even practice next week. Same with most of the D.

I don't think he's playing Sunday. If they cared about the record they'd have kept him in the game today to lower next week's total even more. He was gashing the Cowboys.

Raiders might win next week too. Chargers are locked into the 6 seed. So they likely don’t play anyone. Could potentially go from 1 all the way to 10 in 3 weeks

Depends on how 2 games go. If they get what they need from Detroit and Minny, starters will definitely play next week.
