Hey everyone, for the Super Bowl, let's do all of the Gameday stuff (at least during the game) in the Super Bowl Gameday Thread so that it's all in one place.

Rather be in here. Been in here all year. Don’t want to change it up now with everything on the line

Many professional athletes have admitted that bulletin board material matters and gives extra motivation. The Jordan "and I took that personally" meme for example.

Lane Johnson did it recently.

First PED's. Now bulletin board material. Man this guy sucks, he needs everything to play well!

Correct. It was said that any player that needs to do so is probably not special to begin with. When I used this very example myself yesterday and said Hurts, Lane (the picture above), the Eagles (Dog masks), etc did it as well, BRK hit me with the following:

Desperate/pissed off team that has more talent.

I'm so sick of hearing how good the Chiefs defense is this week. Are they good? Sure, but the Packers had a statistically better defense.

Passing defense according to Fox they are 18th and the Commanders are 3. Rush defense is 8th and the Ravens who couldn't stop SB is 1 and Packers are 7th. Their freaking 3rd down defense is 26th.

Yeah, they have Jones and will blitz the hell out of the Eagles, but they have rolled through every other defense and while they are good they aren't some juggernaut. I'm sick of hearing how the Eagles won't be able to do crap.

On the other side the Eagles have the 8th best offense while the Chiefs are 16th probably in part to some injuries earlier, but still. They are going against the #1 defense that just beat the 5th, 7th, and 15th offenses to get there. They also beat Lamar and the #1 who's just as slippery as Mahomes.

Screw the media and F the Chiefs

This is like changing the clothes you've been wearing during games all season, moving your seat, or me complimenting Hurts. Bad stuff happens.

One reason we’re better in 2024 is if you remember, in 2022 our best quarter was the second quarter. We’d score a bunch of points and then try and hold on for the win. Often times our second halves were mediocre; particularly in the SB.

This 2024 team is a 4th quarter team

I hate the niners but kittle is hilarious

Its fair to say the Chiefs org this year are in part running on smoke and mirrors because of the what they have achieved in the past 5 years; credit in the bank. Still good to great, but normie fans will see the record and think, man, they are cooking this year. But.. Spags D is great in some situations, but they are not what they are perceived to be.  We know the Eagles OL is going to assert itself on that DL.  We know Barkley is going to find that crack of daylight and be gone.  We know that stopping 26 will allow others to come open. Spags will need to pick his poison against a team built to win many ways,

This Eagles are also full pressure all day long as 53 man roster. Its a team that makes the opposition work hard; no Mike McDaniel whimsy . What will the Chiefs do when Carter and Williams are at DT with Smith at DE?  Can the OL hold up if they are made to dink and dunk?

I like that so many are taking the easy option and going for the Chiefs. They won't see it coming.

Nailed it this time
