@HazletonEagle Man what an embarrassing couple of days for you huh? Superbowl MVP... it's okay you'll get through this.. @Mike030270guess you could be invited to this too. How did Hurts and Mahomes stack up with each other or you wanna act like an arrogant **** some more?

I saw that @HazletonEagle still wants to trade Hurts for Garrett. @Mike030270 definitely still wants to act like an arrogant @zz.  It's why he is beloved among the blog pillars.

The Hurts criticism that was mentioned throughout the regular season and the playoffs was warranted and both statements can be true: 1.) He was primarily a game-manager for most of the regular season and the playoffs riding Saquon and the defense to wins and 2.) He elevated his play when it mattered most in the NFCCG and Super Bowl. I always said that with this roster, Hurts playing the game-manager role and not hero ball while limiting dumb turnovers and making plays with his legs is good enough to win a Super Bowl. The coaches knew that which is why they ran the offense through Saquon all year long and the defense got better and better every week.

I agree if we are just talking about this year. In general though people act like Hurts was never runner up for MVP and didn’t play great in a SB already. They act like he had saquon and a great defense last year when they were 10-1 and Hurts outplayed Josh Allen. In reality he had to he worst defense in the league. People act like he was always a game manager and never had to carry the team.

Linebacker has the highest AAV behind QB? Is there a distinction between inside and outside linebacker?

For some reason they lump LB with edge rushers (i think its edge rushers), Patrick queen is the highest paid pure LB at 20m. But no distinction on the tag for ILB/OLB

Jalyx Hunt potential is something to watch. Trusting the rookie in these last 2 games and he absolutely delivering is insane

What is everyone buying? I have a million shirts and hats so I just bought my wife and I Saquon jerseys with the SB patch. I bought papers and magazines for 52 since it was the first, as well as a signed picture of the BG strip sack and signed picture of kelce at the parade with a transcript of his speech on it. I don't think I'm going to buy anything like that for this one (partly because the covers are all pretty lame IMO).

Hurst did not outplay Josh Allen in that game.  Hurts had 265 yards of total offense, Allen had 339 passing, and another 81 rushing for good measure.

"I was told that when they had conversations with Aaron Rodgers about what the future would look like, if you’re going to be part of this team you’re going to attend all of training camp,” Russini said on her Scoop City podcast. "You’re not going to do Pat McAfee interviews anymore.

I think that's a fair ask

So Mahomes outplayed Hurts on Sunday then?

Is there going to be a blu ray release of the Eagles Super Bowl? I googled and it doesn't seem last year they released one. Physical media is dying, so I wonder if they just aren't going to make them anymore.

Was wondering the samething.

I think you're just a bit too dense to comprehend your own idiocy

A little intellectually dishonest with this post.

You are comparing a 34-0 game to a game Buffalo led inside the 2 minute warning and in overtime.

And who won the game? Don’t judge a game based on the QB yards. Hurts "only” had 221 passing yards because that’s all he needed. And his defense gave him consistently good starting field position.

He got straight into Brandon Coleman's chest.  Coleman has 34 5/8 " arms which is above average for an OT.  He could not anchor or get ahold of anything on Hunt.  He did not expect Hunt's power.  Thuney has short arms even for a guard. He had no chance.

I'd imagine there will be one sooner than later. I don't see why they wouldn't. People will buy them up and they will make money from it. I'm a physical media guy and plan on getting it once they release it.

Oh you definitely care haha you just look dumb now. How do their first 4 years starting stack up to each other? Cuz you acted as if that was the most preposterous thing ever mentioned prior to the superbowl.

He's big mad about wanting to be vindicated and for the "haters" to be mad and I couldn't be more ecstatic that Hurts played well and we beat the snot out of them.

I don't think it's happening because manufacturers across the globe have decided to cut back physical media production. There wasn't one last year so I think they're probably done making them.

I'm sure some niche sellers will make custom ones though.

Honestly, with what we have seen this year from Nolan, Hunt and Ojomo, I'm ok with letting Sweat and Williams get paid elsewhere. If Sweats knee scares off teams, then maybe another 1 year deal makes sense. BG gets to decide what he wants to do. My offseason hit list:

1. Extend Jurgens -- get him locked up so we know our cap numbers going forward. Keeping this line together is the priority.

2. Pick up Davis' 5th year option. $11.5mm isn't a bad deal for the 5th year, and you see another year before making a decision. You also keep Carter, Dean and Smith happy for any upcoming extension decisions.

3. Approach Slay about a pay cut. There's no way we are paying Slay $16mm cash for next year. If he is willing to cut that to a more market deal for a guy his age (~$8mm), then let him finish his career here. If not, he's a post June 1 cut.

4. Bye Bradberry. I'd hope we can use a post June 1 slot on him and defer $7.7mm to 2026 (total hit $10.8mm).

5. Goedert -- you just can't pay him $15.5mm in 2025. Like Slay, if he willing to take a pay cut, maybe a short extension with non-gteed money, then OK. If not, you have to cut him and draft a replacement. Can't count on him staying healthy.

Now to the FAs...

6. Baun -- I still doubt Howie does it, but this is the guy I prioritize first. We draft OL and DL well, but we really suck with LBs. Baun is the chess piece that makes Vic's system go. Find a deal at 3-4 years.

7. Becton -- this will come down to price. Steen could step in, but Becton is a unicorn. I could see a team throwing big tackle money at him.

8. Burks -- bring him back on a cheap deal till Dean is ready.

9. Rodgers -- another one I'd bring back on a cheap deal

10. And here's the controversial one...what's Haason going to get paid? 1 year, $6 million? Make him the new BG if BG walks.

Echoing the sentiment about Hunt.  He and Ojomo were on the field for the Sack-Sack-Pick Six possession.

They could reasonably be the starters on the right side of our DL next season.
