Still riding that LIX euphoria!

But the draft nerd within has been looking at college highlights, mock drafts, and toying with mock draft simulators for months now. Harmless addiction I suppose lol

My guys for 32 sadly look to be moving up the first round. EDGE Shemar Stewart and DT Walter Nolen now look to almost be out of reach without a decent trade up. DT TJ Sanders and EDGE Landon Jackson draft stocks seem to be rising too. Initially thought of a mid to late second round pick for Sanders and mid second for Jackson, both seem to be climbing into late first round consideration. My hope is one of them will be there at 32.

Other EDGE/DTs to keep an eye on if staying put at 32:

EDGE Kyle Kennard

EDGE Princely Umanmielen

DT Derrick Harmon

Looking at flying out for the parade this Friday. I seriously regretted not getting to go to the parade after our first win, but I just didn’t have the money.

Flights to Philly from my state are at least $700 right now, but I have a friend that lives 30 min from Philly that would let me crash at their place.

Its a lot of money but like, man who knows when the next time they win another Super Bowl  or if they ever do. But my dog has been having medical issues, already cost me nearly 3k in last month. Doing a lot better now, has a follow up appt tomorrow. If they say she’s fine I might buy the ticket tomorrow

Do you have time to do Amtrak?  How far from Philly are you?

@VaBeach_Eagle hey bud… do we have an affiliated link with fanatics for the UK? Obviously the link provided on the forum is for the US.

I'll have to see about that, not sure if they provide that or not.

I think Kennard is more of a second rounder. The second round is going to be stacked with DEs.

Would be a shame if they don’t but also I get it.

Oh, I haven't had a chance to look at the links that you sent pre-game for the news. But I was watching NBCS Philly and saw someone from London being interviewed by Ashlyn Sullivan at Chickie's & Pete's, was that you?

Haha that was us! They said London even though we told them it wasn’t London 😂.

You.  Again.  Maybe one of these days you'll stop crying about it and realize that we are just as happy as you are with this amazing win.

Maybe one of these days you'll admit you foolishly ran your mouth for an entire season about the QB only to watch it blow up in your face as he brought home the second lombardi in franchise history.

Like I said to HE, you guys were basically like RTK when he was trashing Foles in 2017.

Oh you definitely care haha you just look dumb now. How do their first 4 years starting stack up to each other? Cuz you acted as if that was the most preposterous thing ever mentioned prior to the superbowl.

I don't but I'll play this game with you so you'll shut up finally

Since I know you like to cherry pick stats... what exact years are you using?  You say 4 years starting but you guys constantly bring up that Hurts started in 2022. Math ain't mathin for that

Hurts 2022-2024 and Mahomes 2018-2020?

Hurts

37-10 WL

906/1359 66.7% 10462yds 63TDs 26INTs

1995yds rushing 42TDs

Mahomes

37-8 WL

1092/1652 66.1% 13868yds 114TDs 23INTs

798yds rushing 6TDs

Yeah, I'm live in Chesapeake, but Virginia Beach is better known so that's why I'm not Chesapeake_Eagle lol.

Truth.

It might be an ideal year to trade down.

Then use the acquired capital to trade up in RD2 from Pick 64.

Grab an EDGE and DT in RD2 with RD1 grades.

There will be a run on EDGE so we may have to trade up in 2nd though (or down from 32)

They could have just said England but yeah I mean I get it. What an experience to have had here though.

I'm lost on what you're doing. Are you complaining that Mahomes had no time to throw?

Mahomes went 21/32 257yds passing with 3TDs and 2 picks. The TDs were in garbage time

We've done the career comparisons before and Mahomes>Hurts. You can stay in fantasy land and that's fine. I'm still enjoying the win 🤷‍♂️

His panties are twisted into a double knot, because there are some of us that accurately criticized Hurts when he played poorly throughout the season and the 1st 2 rounds of the playoffs.  Each one of these people, including me, gladly ate their crow and have done nothing but praise him for how incredible he was these last 2 games.

I thought he played great in the NFCCG and SB 🤷‍♂️

I didn't know I was supposed to say he sucked when he didn't

I actually respect Mahomes for that. He got his ass kicked but was going to go down with the ship. He has enough credibility to call his own shots there and wasn’t under any obligation to tap out.

He wanted to pad his stats.  He was embarrassed and wanted the box score to look better.  It was a D move.  His teammates deserved a chance to get on the field and have their moment, even in a losing effort.

And no, he doesn't have enough credibility to call his own shots there.  Players are always under obligation to think of their teammates.   There was literally nothing of consequence to be gained by him going out there, but there was something to be gained for his teammates who hadn't gotten the chance to actually step onto the field in a Super Bowl.
