Not sure how.  The franchise is worth in excess of $8.3 Billion.  He purchased it for $185 million.  That’s over a $8.1 Billion profit.

And that’s just what it’s currently worth - nothing to do with how much the Eagles take in from ticket sales, television revenue and merchandising.  (Reportedly around $290 million annually)

He also just cashed out roughly $700 million when selling an 8% minority in the franchise.

And with a guy like Howie Roseman handling most of the player contracts, $$ etc I highly doubt "cash flow” has anything to do with anything.

FWIW, PFF had CJGJ ranked 21st overall and 8th against the pass. His run defense was not great.

Either way the "nah he sucks, easy to replace" is not true

And that would be yet another downgrade as hard as it is to believe

And his physicality, toughness and violence that he played with is not so easy to just find and plug in

It’s important to note CJ will be on his 5th team in the past 5 years.

With Green, they have a former 1st rounder in the last year of their contract. That holds some value around the league. They could be playing the comp pick game with him. They got a 5th rounder for Dillard. Why not Green?

64 starting NFL safeties….

So a top 30% overall starting NFL safety and a top 10-15% NFL safety against the pass.

FFFFFF. The team people

laugh at with no cap space beat us out, great :furious:

Little more than I was expecting. Would have liked to have him here though.

It's important to note the two years CJGJ was on the Eagles were went to the Super Bowl.

Because Green was the worst rated NFL guard before being put on IR last season.

Are you suggesting he’s the reason they made it to the superbowl?

So that at least tells us they were making an attempt to sign someone else and have some type of plan (concepts of a plan?)

Bills should have a pretty potent pass rush.

I have no idea what happened in Carolina - what I know is he was good here and would more than likely still be good here, especially as a #2 back behind Barkley.

And no, my comparison was not a "false equivalency” You guys like throwing that phrase around a lot without even knowing what it means.

I'll tell you what happened, he lost an all pro line that did 90% of the work for him. Once he had to actually use vision, which he doesn't have, he was garbage

He wouldn't give more than any rookie would

He certainly played an impactful role in it.

If you're worried about physicality, toughness and violence from your Safety, just wait until Sydney Brown is unleashed...

So was Brett Toth

That's the biggest indictment on Sanders in Carolina.

Chubba Hubbard:  250 carries, 1195 yards, 4.8 ypc.
Miles Sanders: 55 carries, 205 yards, 3.7 ypc.

Exactly. He's a JAG who was carried by the line here. Can get the same or better production from probably any rookie as a backup

I think it’s at least promising that the Eagles made an effort on Reid. It shows they aren’t destitute with cash spending at the moment.

Stout obviously sees something there. It’s not a terrible gamble, is it?

Sometimes it works out and you get Becton or a 5th for Dillard, and others it doesn’t like Warmack.
