I'm going Donovan Jackson.  Just think he's the best Guard in the draft and think we can get similar or better than Donny E in round 2 or 3

I Ike him and think he will be a good pro but am just not overly excited or wowed by him. His size is just ok too. Was hoping for a more dominating style guy like Brooks was or Dickerson is. Even Belton has that dominating size/presence I prefer.

Meh.   Doctors only have opinions.  What do they know?  (Especially when they are speaking out of their backside, rather than actually citing data)

We watched a dude die after a routine tackle - a catastrophic injury will always be in option in football. I doubt it will happen first  on the slowest play with the least amount of collision force and momentum.

Milton is a big arm who can run. McKee has proven to be a QB. Milton has proven nothing more than the flawed QB prospect he was. McKee is by far a more valuable asset than Milton. However, people saying 1st or 2nd round are out in left field.

Id expect a 4th rounder and be on the fence. Id take a 3rd without hesitation.

And its mostly as a favor to McKee to advance his career. Ideally he is more valuable to us. But, this is also the whole purpose of being a QB factory. Accepting the draft pick for these guys when it comes. Drafting in the 6th, and turning it to a 4th or 3rd is a win for the team, and for the player.

I like McKee a lot but not as a backup for Hurts. Their styles seem about as similar as butter and hot peppers. If McKee came in for Hurts Eagles would really have to shift gears on the play calling. McKee being a backup for somebody like Burrow or Stafford would make better sense to me.

Why is there now some time limit to edit posts?  Why is it also really short?

@Mike030270 What do you mean confused face?

It's the most underrated rivalry in the NFL.  They have played 4 times and have split it 2-2.  Played twice in the Super Bowl and have split it 1-1.  All 4 games have been close except for the most recent Super Bowl.  We are getting at least a 5th game this upcoming year.  Mahomes also stole Hurts' MVP in 2022.

What is it that you don’t like about it?

A. 99% are ugly

B. you lose team identity. turn on a game, no idea who's playing

C. Unnecessary

D. Teams are allowed a certain amount of uniforms, CC uniforms take the place of throwback opportunities.

E. 99% are ugly

There shouldn't be, a couple of people have mentioned it but I need some specific links so I can check into it.

Speaking of City Connect. Just another item to sell. Batting practice CC hats.

I don't believe in QB rivalries when they don't face each other

There's also no competition that Mahomes>Hurts. They're not in the same ballpark

Hurts had a great year in 2022 but it's hilarious to say Mahomes stole his MVP

I'm uploading some old stuff on the YouTube channel.

Certainly weren't in either SB they played against each other.

Saying Mahomes is better than Hurts is not an insult to Hurts no matter how badly it hurts your feelings

That is a good question, but it exists regardless of whether you trade McKee or don’t trade him.

What trading McKee does is immediately present another question that doesn’t exist currently … who is your starting QB if Hurts misses games due to injury?

So, as you are dashing up to take that 2nd Round pick for McKee, what is your plan for addressing that second question?

You stick Thompson Robinson in,

McKee looked good starting against the 3rd worst team in the NFL in a dead game for both teams. As I said in another post NFL history is full of QB's who landed a bigger role after a couple of decent spot starts and fell to earth.

Fact is history shows if a team loses their starting QB for a significant length of time 90 percent of the time they're screwed. I think McKee is a decent back up, but that's based on a very small sample and unless you're going to start him in the future then turning down a second round pick would be stupid for the team and honestly unfair to McKee.

Just an absolutely foolish line.  You didn't consider Brady and the Manning brothers rivals?  You didn't consider Brady and Mahomes rivals?

Jalen Hurts was the best player in the league in 2022.  If he didn't miss two games at the end of the season then he would have been the runaway MVP and the Eagles would have finished 16-1.

Hurts is the only QB other than Brady to beat Mahomes in a Super Bowl.  He also outplayed Mahomes twice in the two Super Bowls they played each other.  It's absolutely a rivalry.  Their legacies are tied together.

BigEFly cooks with both butter and hot peppers.  McKee has a nice touch on deep and intermediate throws.  So does Hurts.  They lose some of the running aspect missing Hurts but that’s about it.

History shows:

Foles for Wentz.

Hostetler for Simms.

Brady for Bledsoe.

Dilfer for Banks.

Williams for Schroeder.

Plunkett for Stabler.

Morall for Unitas.

Just cherry picking SB winners. There are lots of other QBs who did well when the first stringer got hurt.

Very nice.  We use to stop at Oskar Blues in Lyons all the time after going to RMNP.  Bummed they got rid of the Gubna ice cream. Short lived experiment but was oddly good.

Jordan Romano sucks

unless they like Thompson-Robinson better than McKee. Then theyll be completely comfortable trading McKee.

There’s an entire off season to make it through…but based off the facts on hand, if this was the case, everyone should be fired if they like him better.  DTR is a camp arm right now who will be fighting for a PS spot.

I dont think he is a camp arm. I think he is a rostered QB3. For now. Who may end up QB2.

Ironically, McKee had a lot of Foles in him that intrigued me when he was drafted.
