Wouldnt be surprised if more than a few guys on this list end up being drafted by the eagles as a bunch of them have been linked to the Birds through various means.

Not a huge fan of Elijah from SMU but from that description he sounds like a poor mans Brandon Graham which wouldnt be a bad thing with a 7th round pick

Not sure about taking another WR with seemingly same size and skill set as wilson.

I think Howie will keep looking for a big WR that can block and catch. There are plays he likes for that player. I commented after he was signed to a futures contract that Elijah Woods is here to compete with Wilson. But I agree, the pick did not impress me. But that is a big part of Day 3, hoping to find a gem but mainly to improve the back ups and participatory players. UDFAs, SFAs and low cost UFAs make up a lot of that too.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

If his price tag were more in line with his value, then absolutely. He's a good player. The issue is... he's not THAT good a player. His price tag would be higher than Barkley and D. Smith... combined for 2025 and 2026. AND, he'll only be here to play for one of those seasons.

The contract was structured this way for a reason and he was 'cheap' in recent years, but the time to pay the piper is here. And now they have a major decision to make. It isn't as simple as keep him because he's talented. The cost comes into the equation.

People seem to be praising him a bit much IMO

His contract, age, targets, and injury history are against him

One Week!

They mention Justin Walley in this video which is the first Ive seen him mentioned by the media. Reported yesterday that the eagles had him visit.

Eagles are using some visits on guys who would project to be a backup nickel. Which I find odd. So my suspicion is that they are looking at guys like Jaylin Smith, Justin Walley, and Jacob Parrish as safeties.

Maybe they see back up nickel as more of a need than S. That said, under Fangio, the nickel has migrated to DB, a combination of nickel CB and S. The ideal nickel isn’t the munchkin, it’s a player like Cooper, who has CB mirroring capabilities and S like instincts. Frankly, that’s why I think McCollum had potential (he played a similar role in college.) Right now they have four Ss (although Sam is a camp body). They list four players as DBs, Cooper, Castro-Fields, Cine and A J Woods. Only Woods is below 6’. Woods is fast and quick. Eagles signed him to the PS in September and kept him all season. The player they risked as a cut from this group is Castro-Fields. But all of Coopers back ups are PS/Futures guys at this point. So nickel DB is as big, if not bigger, need.

Four days. Phase 1 starts. Who doesn’t voluntarily participate?

It seems like a lot of attention to focus on a position that will be a long term backup. 30 visits isn't a lot and to use so many on a backup nickel... that doesn't seem smart. I think they are virwing those guys s something else.

I've never enjoyed a more universal hate then what I'm seeing for the all woman "space crew". The self entitlement and feeling like they did something monumental is unbelievable.

First I was out of the loop on Nico and had to ask. Now this.

Its really $35M for one year, with the chance to pay it over 2.

Good point.

Roseman needs to go if he goes through with this DeVonta Smith for Jalen Ramsey trade.

It's a lock to happen. Start getting outraged now.

Harr harr, but really think about it

"Trade for the guy from Miami who hated Fangio and was one of the primary reasons he is gone is because he's soft as hell, for tough as nails Devonta Smith who is one of the most under the radar leaders on the team, and a better WR than Ramsey is a CB at this point."

Terrible.

Not to mention Smith's almost $43 million in dead cap. Some of these rumors are just laughable

Yeah, but Ramsey has 2, MAYBE 3, years tops left in him while DeVonta is in his prime. Need to get players off the books so we can pay the defense. So from that perspective it makes complete sense.

If the Eagles took Mason Taylor in round 1 I'd be pissed and I like him as a player. But at 32 would be gross.

Even dead cap numbers aside, Smitty is one of several that should be untouchable in a trade. I’d be livid if he were dealt.

It was just some dumb yahoo sports writer that proposed #32 and Smith for Ramsey, #13 and a 2nd round pick next year.

Just Madden fanboy nonsense.

Beau Allen will announce Eagles picks in rounds 2 and 3. A DT announcing a DT pick would be cool. Allen to announce TJ Sanders?

Man, if we could get a 2026 3rd for Goedert...🙌

A loss is imperative. But not like Buffalo is gonna try hard.

I think he'd be long gone already if that was possible

@DEagle7

Good thing he went on Pat McAfee to clear the air on this.

Hates attention btw.

It's his first time speaking to anyone publicly in months.

So when he doesn't speak he's begging for attention. When he speaks he's begging for attention. What does he have to do to not beg for attention?
