Rodgers skipped the Jets’ mandatory minicamp last June because he wanted to bugger off to Egypt instead of working. He’s not a procrastinator, dude — he’s just a knob.

Flyers down 3-1 after the first and getting outshot 14-5. Two more periods of light scrimmages and set in position for a top 5 pick.

Do you think Baun and Barkley can repeat?

Mitchkov with 2 goals. Now 4-2 in the 2nd

I still don't believe he would've out-dueled Brady.

I just don't see it. He was good before then but he always had serious flaws, too.

Not to say they would have won, but he didn't have flaws that season. He was spectacular. We all thought we had our guy for the next decade.

I think Deion does rank his sons so maybe he does.

All you have to do is go back and read the blog after his injury. You would be hard pressed finding many (any?) posters who didn't think the season was over once the severity of the injury was revealed.

There are 50 reasons why it's not true. One is that Jalen Ramsey doesn't like Fangio according to Miami beat. Don't get me wrong that's only #49 on the list but it's not true

Exactly. I realized it's bs. Kinda stupid all the crap that gets put out.

The injury in LA was not the issue. When Clowney drove his head through the Linc, Wentz was through

Yup

I cannot believe AJ Feeley and Brad Goebel didn't make the list. What about Bubby Brister and Pat Ryan? Don McPherson?

Huge Guido Merkens fan.

It was at that point they decided to invest in another QB which became Hurts. But Wentz would have played his way out of town eventually either way

Nice chart of visits to players projected round. @paco is this your other side?

Im not a draftnik but I respect that dudes game.

Finished 4th lowest in standings; cannot draft any worse than 6th even if (when) Bettman, Daly, Campbell screw them in the lottery draw.

Brière has 3 first round picks and 4 second round picks to work with. This draft will lay a foundation (good or bad) on which the Brière/Jones era will be evaluated on.

Not necessarily, but I don’t expect a significant decline either. Let’s not forget—they both had remarkable seasons last year (Barkley’s was downright legendary), and matching that level of performance won’t be easy.

No way Barkley does, he just had an all-time season. Baun has a slightly better chance but I would expect him to regress a bit too. Their season were so good that it would be hard to replicate

I haven’t read a single scouting report or saw a single video that makes Mason Taylor seem like a good idea at pick 32 or with a small trade down. What am I missing, and why is he frequently getting mocked to us?

Almost no first round visits but lots of 2nd and 3rd round visits? CLEARLY this is happening:

Fills in the dead season better than @LeanMeanGM 's "reports" of trading Smith.

Best TE projected to be available when the main talking point is unloading Goedert.

I haven’t seen him play. But this should be more about Mason Taylor than anything else. If he is BPA at 32, then go for it, unload Goedert after the fact, and transition to the younger, less injury prone TE.

If BPA is an edge/dt/wherever else we need to add, then why dump Goedert just so we can burn a first round pick on a TE that’s not giving us anything we don’t already have?

He just screams "solid but unspectacular starting TE.” I don’t see the point in drafting that at 32 or even mid-second. I get that this draft class is weak in round 1, but all of these TEs are getting pushed up too high, even Warren and Loveland.

I'm ok with Taylor at 64 but he's not a 1st rd pick. His last name is definitely adding value.
