Watching the non Loveland and Warren TEs… I think Ferguson is my guy. He has a ton of juice and would do very well with those TE screens that Goedert has been awesome at. His blocking needs work, and if the Eagles think they can coach him up to be an average to above average blocker, I’d be cool with him at 64 or ideally if they traded back a bit.

Like Ferguson alot but gimme Taylor over him

That seems to be the consensus.

It's hard for me to get behind Taylor at 32

Taylor has better hands, not sure if it is worth the premium.

Andrew Dececco had him as his #2 for what it's worth. I'd be quite disappointed if he's our first pick, even with a trade back. But I think this front office likes him quite a bit. I do like the player but I just don't want him as our first pick.

I still believe our first pick will have visited especially if it’s a guy who wasn’t a top 20 projected pick who dropped

If Nolen does not fall within striking range, I think the pick will be Pearce Jr. or Scourton in a slight trade back from 32.

Pearce had enough motivation questions that I’d be surprised if he was their guy without a visit

The report is they sent a contingent of player personnel including Brent Celek to interview the TE's at the combine. They could be playing coy here to not reveal who their TE targets are.

I think they will have to trade up for either Pearce or Scourton. A lot of guys we like on the dline are going to go fast.

I'm a skeptic with that stuff. The Eagles always send people to interview candidates at the combine. That's the purpose. I think they let Celek go to get him experience not because they were so sure they'd take a TE they needed him there.

As for playing coy the Eagles pick 32. Everyone can pick before them. Sure in theory one of the early 2nd rd teams could jump back into the first round to take someone ahead of the Eagles but again I'm skeptical Mason Taylor visiting or not visiting the Eagles on a top 30 would cause that to happen.

Trying to play some catchup and I think I’ve come up with a list of "my guys” for the draft, players who aren’t obvious first-round guys.

RB - Damien Martinez

TE - Terrance Ferguson

OL - Marcus Mbow

Edge - Oladejo

LB - Teddye Buchanan

CB - Tommi Hill (if his foot has healed)

S - Andrew Mukuba

I am going to do one of my own

QB- McCord

RB- RJ Harvey

WR- I already talked a lot about Higgins, Jaylen Noel, and Trey Harris. Later round guy Torey Horton. We all knew him. Most have forgotten him even though he has proven to be a better athlete than we knew. He was a probable 2nd or 3rd rounder last year. He should be even higher in a weaker WR class, and for some reason, hes just not. Makes no sense.

TE-Gadsden

OL- Lundt (I dont have a strong feeling about any mid-late round OL for sure being good, but this is the ball of clay I want for Stoutland)

Edge- Josaiah Stewart

DT- Ingram-Dawkins (I have a lot for this one who Id have more conviction for, so instead of choosing just one of those guys, Ill go again with the most intriguing ball of clay)

CB- Nohl Williams (Could name a bunch here as well. I like Nohls KR ability which will prove useful even if Ringo wins the job for this year).

S- Mukuba is one of my guys. In the interest of adding a different name- Billy Bowman- the guy gets turnovers. Ill gamble on his instincts which actually come with a good athletic profile as well.

I was chatting with someone today about the draft, and it occurred to me we're so reliant at pick 32 with trying to work out what teams will do in a draft where the consensus is all over the map. It starts with pick 1 and goes down from there.

A GM like Howie must be spending a lot of time on the phone right now. His element

I think in the Eagles position you really just let the board play out for the first 25 picks, unless there’s a top 10 prospect on their board sitting there past 20 or so. I could see a trade up to 26 or 27, but even more likely a trade down to the late 30s if they have a bunch of guys at 32 still there who are on their same tier.

Nice list.

If this turns into a bizarro draft where DL/Edge gets pushed to Day 3, Ingram-Dawkins and Que Robinson would be intriguing. They’ve had a lot of top talent ahead them, so could be gems in plain sight that just need some more polish/PT.

Que really looks really, really nice.

Yeah I wonder who their trade up candidates are. I don't love any of those guys enough to give up a 3 except M. Williams if he fell enough which seems unlikely. I think they like Starks a lot but still not sure they'd trade up for a safety.

Former safety 👀

Some more Parrish, and Fairchild talk in this vid. 2 guys the eagles had visit. And its Dane Brugler.

Day 3 gems with Brugler

I’m with you on McCord. I haven’t really spent any time with the RBs but Harvey certainly has gotten a lot of buzz from the talking heads.

My favorite WR is TeSlaa, however, the reviews of Gadsen I’ve read describe him more as a really good WR than as a a TE.

The rest of your choices are all good ones.

Agreed on Ingram-Dawkins and Robinson.

Yeah... I don't often agree with the Eagles RB evals. I guess I should consider myself lucky they took Shipley last year.

Eagles are carrying a lot of RBs already and have BVS listed on the roster as a FB. I am not convinced they draft a RB this year. But what’s the fascination with Lew Nichols?

If the board falls right, I think theyre in the market.

They have Shipley at RB2.

The AJ Dillon signing reminds me of the Rashad Penney signing. If he works out, great. If not, nothing lost with that small contract. I think theyd be happy to have a draft pick compete and potentially win his spot, if the board falls right.

I dont think anyone else truly factors in to the picture. Not even Lew Nichols. No idea what that obsession is. Some guys are just great to have in the locker room. Like Steven Means reportedly was. Maybe Nichols is one of those guys.

So I have been scoping out the draft guides at the very bottom/projected UDFA. Like, who is the fourth body/arm at QB? My pick is Donovan Smith.

Or LS? I just have doubts that Howie is truly moving from Lovato to an even older player. Curious if @just relax can get the Michigan film to @FranklinFldEBUpper on William Wagner. Bugler likes him enough to have a draft grade on him (7th). Personally, I think I want his fourth, if only because he must be a rock nerd given he goes to the Colorado School of Mines but his name reminds me of the guy on Barney Miller, Josh Wojciechowicz. I haven’t checked to see if any are magicians.

Eagles have room for about 10-12 UDFAs/SFAs + bottom of the 90 roster tweaks that tend to occur over the next week or so.
