True. Hairston appears to be a sexy pick when compared to Amos, about whom there isn’t a lot of buzz.

I’ll be enroute to the airport in China during Night 1, so I’ll likely just be checking the ticker on NFL.com for first round draft results. The only results I saw from my hotel cable package was 40 channels with all but two being in Cantonese — even the guide page was in Cantonese. There was one channel that appeared to be sports oriented, but table tennis is typically what’s showing.

Travelling through Hong Kong and Macau the only sports teams logos I see are Yankees and Dodgers caps; I assume because of the Asian ball players in MLB. There is also an NBA presence here in ads and some jerseys being sold. I’ve seen nothing NFL affiliated at all since I’ve been here.

I would not pay Reed top of the market safety money. I dont think he is that level of player.

Safety is a need not just because CJ is gone. But because, I think of all of the secondary players who will need to be paid, Reed is the most replaceable.

I think he’ll get a shorter extension, like 2/3 years. He’s the "veteran” of the DBs now and can hold the fort down until Mitchell and DeJean get their deals.

I am in East Texas 3 or 4 times a year to see my FIL and other relatives and friends. I have thought about trying to catch an Eagles game at Jerruh World just to see if the Mac and Cheese is as good as alleged.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with @mattwill , @just relax and @FranklinFldEBUpper over a meal and some wine. Franklin’s memory of Eagles games and players is phenomenal. I would argue that the Blog has a great roster of Eagles historians but I doubt any can top his memory. Personally, I have really enjoyed his hourly posts because I think back and recall something about the player mentioned that I forgot and there have been a few that he listed that I said to myself, "who,” and then promptly looked the player up. The lame Eagles media department uses the tweets with pictures in countdowns. I am never disappointed by Franklin’s posts.

But I get it. If I woke up in NY everyday, I would be annoyed too just opening my eyes every morning.

I agree I think they'll offer him some decent money but not top of the market for sure. If he wants to bet on himself and play out the contract then he can do that as well

I think Green is probably off a lot of boards but Nolen is very surprising especially since everyone else has him rising to top 15

He’s a better athlete, a better player, and more dynamic than both of them.
