Pack D is pretty good. Much better than their offense.

Tbh their best way to win is defense keep them in every game. Jordan love don’t do anything stupid, make a couple timely (or big) throws in the game and Josh Jacobs can wear on a defense as the game wears on. They aren’t as talent as the eagles but their path to victory is somewhat similar to the eagles last year.

  • It’s really cool that the Eagles have become an antichoke team. A lot of that is that Hurts has the sideline disposition of a corpse whether it is September or the SB.

Wait till a team gets pressure on Love and/or has a good run D.

Their path to victory is very hypothetical. Like, if they were good enough to do those things against the best teams. But, they're not.

Man did a team in the league punt the RB position more than the Commanders this year? Went in with Robinson/Ekler/Rodriguez which is below average at best. Only added a 7th round rookie RB and Jeremy McNichols to the mix. Traded away their best RB leaving the 7th round rookie and a 30 year old declining RB as the leads in their backfield.

Either Jacory Croskey-Merritt is the second coming or they're screwed

I don't care to hear when you see something. There isn't anyone's analysis on this message board when it comes to football that I hold to a lower value than yours. You've have built up a horrible track record over the years.

I was sure to forget to tell you anyway dont worry. Next time I'll pay attention to the packers is when the eagles are running through them making them look like a JV team.

Its not either or. J-M is very good. But they're still screwed.

Theoretically, their defense should get better when Parsons starts playing more snaps and they incorporate him even more into that defense. So their defense, which is already playing at a high level right now could be even better as the season moves on.

I don’t know what their offense is gonna be, but their offense last year wasn’t exactly stellar with a banged up love and underwhelming second year starting. I tend to think their offense is likely going to be better this year than last year yet they still managed to win 11 without the ceiling they have on defense this year.

Imo the contenders outside of the eagles in the nfc are rams, packers, bucs and Vikings. Don’t know how much cause they all have flaws or question marks at the moment. Rams if Stafford stays healthy and secondary good enough. Can LaFleur maximize love. Vikings defense is good but will McCarthy improve enough with KOC by the playoffs to make them a legit contender. How’s the Bucs offense going to look losing coen and is Bowles a good enough HC.

All of these stupid national media scumbags just need to do a Google search to know that AJ and DeVonta have been dealing with nagging leg injuries.

This AJ is mad angle is complete garbage.

They just got 9 days to recover. The WR targets won't be because Jalen learned this week that AJ wants the ball.

This is how Howie extends the PS, it means a few extra paychecks for guys on the edge, gets them some time practicing with the team, so they can step right back in when an opening appears (injuries, signings by other teams).

I think some of the churn is deliberate.

Absolutely. Sign, pay a week of PS salary. Two or fewer years is $13k a week. If more a minimum of $17.5k to $22k. He does the same with the bottom of the roster, kind of keeps interest from fringe players.

Someone (EVP of Marquis Whos Who) on LinkedIn reached out to me to be in Who's Who in America. I am apparently a very prominent, influential individual.

But humble.

@mattwill 24-23 Birds; the offense continues to languish, despite a strong defensive effort with JC back. JC sack and FF.

Why are they the only fanbase that constantly does this kind of ish? 😂

This is like the Temu version of the old DTC!

@mattwill - Go back to my Sept 2nd Eagles Cowboys prediction- - I predicted,Eagles to win 24-20.

Eagles 27- Chiefs 17.

Eagles 30

Chiefs 26

AJ with 2 TDs and 100+ yards.

Packers are looking good. If we go by how our offense looked last week, Packers D will suffocate us. Last week our offense was reminiscent of the 2023 offense. Hope it doesn't stay that way...but 2023 was the Brian Johnson OC year and this year is the Kevin Patullo OC year...both internally promoted guys where it's highly likely Sirianni has significant input into the offensive gameplan and design (certainly more than last year with Moore). I have serious questions about Sirianni's X's and O's ability (all of his other HC qualities are good though).

The Eagles offense looked amazing until the left side of our OL could no longer move.

That's my only concern in this game. A healthy Mailata, Dickerson, and AJ, and we'll handle the Chiefs.

I expect the Chiefs to try and air it out, that's what worked last week and that's how they eventually got on the scoreboard in the SB.

I dont give them a pass for not being able to adjust. Those injuries to the OL happened before the 1st half ended. They knew about it at half time, and did nothing but get even more conservative.

Dallas used the old tampa bay blue print. Play zone. Keep everything in front and dont let them run the ball. The eagles have struggled against that for years now.

I dont care that they scored TDs on their first 3 consecutive possessions. That offense was completely reliant on Hurts' scrambling to extend drives, which can be taken away, and was for the entire 2nd half (except of course the game winning 1st down, but still, there was nothing there all 2nd half for him).

Whats more is it is also completely reliant on not a single 5 yard penalty. Averaging so few yards per play, 1 penalty...1 mistake, by anyone, is a drive killer. That offense was not good enough to win many games.

I do think theyll improve as the season goes on.

I have no idea what this is. Sore throat Friday night. By mid day Sunday fever started spiking. I’m down to 100 now, below with Advil. Tested negative for the flu and Covid.

Probably dying, NBD.

A colleague of mine in Oz caught a nasty RSV a month or so ago - wasn't COVID - that took 2 o 3 weeks to finally go. High temp, cough, tiredness, etc. Their Dr gave them a bunch of uppers so they could work, but it was a nasty one

I just think this is lazy, sensationalist stuff. Those two offenses are nowhere near what they were last year. But they are being used to artificially build up Green Bay as a super power. This is nauseating stuff.
