Let the media talk about the Cowboys or whoever else. I still keep my offseason prediction that the Eagles will repeat as Super Bowl champs. They will continue to work on improving the issues, guys are getting healthy, rookies are improving, the offense needs to open up the run game and then it's all over.

Flores had a bad day. Todd Bowels and Vance Joseph both stopped blitzing in the second half and forced Hurts to throw into 7-man zones. You see almost all of the explosives were against 5-man coverages. Our OL did well blocking and Hurts found the wide open receivers.

I can see giving up one of the #1 picks and some other pieces/picks but not both #1s, which probably makes this a pipe dream for DAL. I read an article a few weeks ago that showed the output of Parsons and Crosby side by side. Parsons was the better pass rusher but not by as much as you might think, the upside that Crosby brings is in the run game, he has more tackles for loss, he simply makes more plays than Parsons. I was very surprised when I saw the stats. Trying to find them now.

Oh...whoever Dov is...not very intelligent, one DE does not make DAL a SB contender, even if DAL had kept Parsons...The one unknown really is that they would now have a better than avg DT (Clark from GB) combined with a top DE. The defense needs more help than one top 5 DE. The good thing is Overshown is progressing well, Butler and Revel also, whether or not they can make an impact in time to get DAL into the playoffs is another story. The NFC looks pretty dang tough this year. DAL needs to worry about going to Mile High this week and getting a win...I hope DAL tries a 70 yrd FG this week in that thin air.

The reality is most teams don't have the depth the Eagles have at most positions. We have legitimate all-pro talent at every level of the defense and offense. It's hard to put any of the decline in the play this season on the GM that built such a talented team.

Young, Robinson and Hall equals nothing right now. Rather have Booker than a 6th rounder right now. Howie had to give up a pick for a guy he let go in Johnson. Kinnard is playing well in GB at swing guard/tackle. He's playing great in running game as matter of fact. Would come in handy for Dickerson and other injuries. Better than Pryor and Toth as a reserve. All of these are little moves that are hurting depth that have played here and are still young. Regarding Becton and Jurgens. I would have signed Becton and waited on Jurgens, especially with back surgery. Not like they got a big discount for him. Currently earning top 2 money. Becton is a short term deal. Could have kept both even. I don't think Bennett has shown much. More hopium there. Will see.

Still can see our way out of this. But he's on a bad streak right now with trades. May need some free agents like Samuel, CJGJ or Simmons. Probably wants to wait long as possible, due to money and seeing what we have.

Howie has not had a good offseason in my book. And I commend his past offseasons, not this one.
