Gotta get a Tyreek Hill type package if you trade AJ Brown. Has to be a no brainer. Chiefs got 5 draft picks for him. And I was against trading Tyreek knowing how it would affect that offense.

Like 10 teams are pursuing Edge Rushers. I'd rather pay a fair price on a good corner than overpay for a non needle moving Edge. I like Jermaine Johnson, but I don't think I'd even give up a 3rd for him. But if you could get Denzel Ward for a 3rd. Or Sneed for a 4th. Then this secondary is well off again.

Ward would likely be a one year rental -- no guaranteed money after this year, and we can't afford a $20mm/year corner for 2026 and 2027 (maybe if convert to bonuses and void years).

Sneed is also out of guarantees after this year and a one year rental.

AJ is not going anywhere imo. I think hes just trolling the media now with his tweets :)

If we have to spend assets in one area, then it's definitely the secondary. The front 7 is good enough with Dean back, with Smith returning, BG boost and Fangio calling the shots. I'm concerned about secondary. Blankenship down year. Makuba still searching. And the burden on Coop and Quinyon is overboard. They are asked to do more than last year and are doing good, but not great. Need someone there to kinda have everyone in their defined roles and comfortable. Last year was seamless and had very few big mistakes. Gonna be tough doing that all that in midseason. Not sure there is that one answer. Cheapest way out is to get CJGJ ( who at least knows the defense and can play slot) and Samuel (if medically cleared) and can bring along slowly and have snaps increase each week and hopefully peaking by playoffs. Think Fangio can figure it out with all the versatility back there.

And if Howie can grab a cheap rotational DT to give Carter a breather, I'm there. A Joseph or Suh type for comparison.

I'd rather we just implement him and Smith more into the actual targets. Good things happen when you target them
