He averaged 5 sacks per year over a 15 year span. He is what he is. A great personality, average player. BUT now he’s old

Didn't you use the term "washed?"

That's absurd. Go watch some of his games from last year, he was awesome in that Rams game before he went out

What is Sauce’s contract status?

Oh, only signed to be the highest paid CB in the NFL 3 months ago. No big deal.

Brandon Graham last season.

11 games.

3.5 sacks.

7 QB hits.

15 solo tackles.

2 Passes defended.

AJ Brown has some serious fortune cookie vibes with his social media posts. I can't believe people fall for it so much.

He was playing incredible against the run before he got hurt. I think it was the Rams game he was in the backfield all day. With Dean and BG back in the fold, this run defense could be transformed.

Blogging the Boys is saying the same thing I had said regarding the potential of a Maxx Crosby trade, they even mentioned Howie!:

Only use one first-rounder for Madd Maxx

The Cowboys got two first-rounders for Micah Parsons, but he’s just 26 years old. There is a lot of gas left in his tank. Crosby is a couple of years older and is coming off a year that was cut short due to season-ending ankle surgery. He is still an elite edge rusher, earning Pro Bowl honors in each of the last four seasons. Crosby’s price tag should be high, but if the Cowboys were able to finesse only giving up one of their first-rounders (and maybe throwing in some less expensive draft capital), this could end up being a good trade for them. Crosby would come with five years of player control (through the 2029 season) at an average cost of less than $30 million per year. That is substantially less than the $46 million that Parsons is costing.

Restructure Crosby’s contract

While Crosby’s salary is cheaper than Parsons, he’s still a strain on the books. The front office could mitigate this by restructuring his deal and converting some of his base salary into bonus money. This allows the team to manage the cap and push some of his cost into the future.

Extend George Pickens in the offseason

With multiple first-round picks over the next two drafts, the Cowboys stand a good opportunity to grab one of the top wide receivers coming out of college. However, the team needs help on defense, and they already have a top receiver on the roster in Pickens. Since stepping on the field, Pickens has been everything fans could have hoped for, creating one of the most dangerous wide receiving duos in the game paired with CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys should try hard to retain him, even if they "can’t afford it.” Simply shift money around by adding extra void years, like Howie Roseman likes to do for the Eagles. As long as Pickens is playing well, it’s a productive investment.

There are some other moves they discuss as well in order to try to resign Pickens, which has been getting a lot of coverage these past couple of weeks. Here is a link to the whole article for those who are interested:

Jerry Jones has a chance to redeem himself by going "All-...

Here is what the Cowboys should do around a trade for Maxx Crosby.

There are some that are concerned that trading for Crosby takes away any chance of signing Pickens long term. I've seen worse plans, of course Jerry likely will not make any of these moves and just give LV the two #1's and call it a day 🤣

George Pickens playing well and setting himself up for a huge payday has been quite the surprise. I thought he'd play well, but he's looking like an absolute steal for Dallas. Can he keep it up and can he stay not crazy?

Skattebo and Nakobe might kill each other this weekend. That will be a fun battle.

Kelly Green Week. The Eagles are 4-0 since bringing back the Kelly Green. They are averaging 34 points over the four games.

2023 Week 7: Eagles 31 Dolphins 17

2023 Week 12: Eagles 37 Bills 34 OT

2024 Week 9: Eagles 28 Jaguars 23

2024 Week 16: Eagles 41 Cowboys 7

This year will have three games starting Sunday. BG's Back, Kelly Green and putting the GMen in their place.

Is there a more irrelevant and dysfunctional football team and delusional fanbase in America than the Dallas Cowgirls? Maybe the Raiders. But that's about it. They will screw it all up. Jerruh whatever you want I agree with it. Keep up the good work! 🍻

All of this is exactly what I thought when I saw this rumor haha.

Except the Pickens part. Dude is a ticking time bomb.

Audric Estime also signed with the Saints PS so he won't be part of the revolving practice door.

As a fan of DAL I would like to see them pass on this trade completely, and trade Pickens as well to a contender for more draft capital, with the way Pickens has been playing they could easily get more than they gave to the right contender. They have a real chance to rebuild with the next two drafts, they have drafted a couple of busts recently, but they have typically draft really well thanks to Will McClay.

Obviously, I don’t think the Eagles are going to trade for Crosby. But I do think it’ll be hilarious If somehow they do, it would just piss off all the Dallas Cowboys fans on Twitter. And they would have a meltdown and it would be awesome.

That would be fantastically awesome. Jerry would lose his mind too. If Crosby can play at his past/current level for the rest of his contract it really is a pretty good deal compared to Micah's salary.

Here's a take:

Let's say you have a red and blue pill before the season:

RED: Micah Parsons at $47mil, Diggs, TJ Bass, and your 3rd round pick

BLUE: Maxx Crosby at $30mil, Pickens, Kenny Clark, and an additional 1st round pick

With the money you've saved on Parsons and Diggs, you can afford to pay Pickens.

I wouldn't even hesitate to take the Blue Pill.
