  • They just announced the flight crew is from Dallas… So I yelled "GO BIRDS” Waiting for the Air Marshall to take me out

  • It’s really cool that the Eagles have become an antichoke team. A lot of that is that Hurts has the sideline disposition of a corpse whether it is September or the SB.

Its basic physics. If you run into a RB when he has the ball. he does not gain yards. The same collision prevents you from getting to the QB as the RB is in your way.

he may not want to run into Saquon but Saquon will run into him because he wants to.

No idea why you have to argue this very simple and obvious dynamic.

Good defenders read and react. They don’t all run into the ball carrier unless the QB’s handoff fake is outstanding. Given how poorly the Eagles O-Line was run blocking on Thursday, a QB’s fake handoff would have had to be otherworldly to get the defenders to all bite.

If the running game was cooking with gas, that would be different, but it wasn’t even cooking let alone cooking well.

When they were saying he was out on TV I said, thats at least worthy of review because that other heel is pretty close to the same time his butt is out. Whaddya know, that heel hit first! What a catch.

Those gloves gotta be the stickiest, grippiest things of all-time. Ball just sticks to em like velcro.

I promise I'll try to do better next week!

The Texans are just the opposite of clutch. They find a way to lose.

Goff had 5 picks vs them last year and they still lost to Detroit.

And somehow guys still drop the ball.

That was beyond stupid by that Titans player

Amen to that. Pitchers who throw at guys these days are cowards. There’s a great story about Pedro Martinez after Clemens hit Papi. Pedro came to Papi and said, "who do you want?” Papi said, "Rodriguez.” Which happened. Martinez was no coward. He was protecting his man. He met a guy or two in the tunnel after the game.

Pretty much nobody messed with Nolan Ryan. He threw at 108. He threw inside but up and in. Cute story: Norm Cash, a very good hitting first baseman for the Tigers, came up to the plate when Ryan was pitching carrying a table leg.The ump said "Norm, you can’t use that.” To which Cash said, "why not? I can’t hit him anyway.”

Nolan was a neighbor of a work colleague of mine. Legs like Earl Campbell.

All the teams I wanted to lose this week have won (except the Cowboys)

You have a very narrow space between OL to get through and Saquon would end them.

The LB or DB would be on the ground thinking.. but matt said the run game was not working, why didn't I get a free pass to Hurts?

Maybe you watched SB LIX? How was Saquon's running? How was his blocking?

Tons of low scoring games.

Rams offense was basically nacua. Surprising as i thought they get Adams more involved

Not scared of any team. Eagles should repeat.

Like I said, you clearly didn’t learn about run blitzes from the Jim Johnson Eagles.

What we saw in the running plays on Thursday was that the D-Line had consistently destroyed any possible pocket for Hurts to drop back into. Multiple Cowboys had split their assigned gap and the physics of Saquon plugging a gap with his body and thereby impeding the defender’s path to Hurts only applies to a single gap. Physics says Saquon cant be in multiple gaps simultaneously.

Sorry @EagleJoe8 . It's actually @mattwill 's fault.

Offenses will look much better by the end of September. This is training camp for them.
