Exciting football player for sure, but wasn’t blessed with a great Playoffs record … 8-10.

that blame ultimately goes to the dolphin's front office.

but listen, i'm not here to praise all things marino, just countering the idea of not wanting him on the eagles.

Mike's got some life in him, no firing yet.

I think he needs to go simply because he seems to have lost the will to live coaching this team. I do hope we can bring him in as an OC. Ultimately, it's not his fault the roster is not great and Tua is just a mediocre QB that can't stay healthy.

Fat people can play sports. They’re allowed. I don’t bowl but I like the idea that that you don’t have to be a physical god to play it. More power to them.

I don't play it but soccer seems to have the same attribute, you don't have to be a physical god to play it. I guess the same could be said for flag football.

Can't argue with that.

@mattwill

Eagles 27, Rams 17. I think the game being in the 1:00pm ET window helps the Eagles.

Bonus -- Barkley with another 60+ yard run vs the Rams.

Tua's just had his bell rung hard too many times and it'd be better for him and his team if he'd just accept it. I'd also say it's ridiculous the sport doesn't have a hard and fast ruling on it, because it's not like there was any question what his concussions were.

Good thing they got Fangio out of there

It IS a good thing they got Fangio out of there. If he were still there he wouldn't be here.

We’ll see if by "calling it tight” that just means screw the Eagles or penalize other teams for stealing their cadence like Mailata said is happening on every play.

Not to mention the Tush Push for a TD that wasn't called, even on replay. They should not have had to run it again.

@mattwill Eagles 27 Rams 20.

Bonus: Eagles get five sacks.

Doesn’t fit the narrative, so they just choose to ignore that.

Huh? Are you serious with this post?

Soccer generally requires a high degree of stamina at a minimum. It’s true you don’t need to be huge, strong and fast. But you do have to be able to run a lot, and while fatigued, still be able to play the ball with a high degree of skill.

Counterpoint: Soccer is dumb and played by loser countries.

Next level analysis right here

@mattwill

Eagles 34

Rams 11

Jordan Davis has a sack

Soccer is like hockey. While you don't need to be a freakbeast in terms of size, you have to have highly developed coordination to play it well. Like hockey, you don't need to be some physical specimen but if you haven't played from a young age, there's no real chance of developing the skill later in life.

Yup.

It’s kind of crazy that starting the sport at 8 years old is late. Other than GK of course — that’s the one position where physical gifts can overcome lack of skill.

Yeah, but wouldn’t it be nice to remind those loser countries how inferior they are by beating them with our 3rd tier athletes?

Meh...I just remind them that if it weren't for us, they'd all be speaking German.

Good week to be playing at home, if the TP is going to be more heavily scrutinized.

Just taking it one week at time, I see... smart.

Maybe we won’t need it 7x if the offense can stop playing defense so much.
