Maybe we won’t need it 7x if the offense can stop playing defense so much.

That would be better - but even when the offense was humming along last year, the TP was the go-to in goal line - can't afford to lose 5yds there. Less crowd noise should help us and make defensive shenanigans more apparent to the officials.

I think he needs to go simply because he seems to have lost the will to live coaching this team. I do hope we can bring him in as an OC. Ultimately, it's not his fault the roster is not great and Tua is just a mediocre QB that can't stay healthy.

I like his scheming but I don't think McDaniel's personality would really fit with the Eagles. Plus he already worked with Fangio and that only lasted a year. Not that they hated each other, but Vic wanted to run things his way which was a big difference from McDaniel way.

Soccer is like hockey. While you don't need to be a freakbeast in terms of size, you have to have highly developed coordination to play it well. Like hockey, you don't need to be some physical specimen but if you haven't played from a young age, there's no real chance of developing the skill later in life.

Soccer is played by pansies who stand or walk around in a meadow the majority of the time, then run when the ball comes into their vicinity. They writhe around on the field grabbing at their ankles from the slightest physical contact. Hockey players will play through injury to the point where broken bones won't keep them out of the lineup, while soccer players sub themselves out (unable to return) because they're tired.

Soccer is more like volleyball or rhythmic gymnastics played outdoors.

Yep clowney fitting in already

At most, you could hire him as an offensive consultant. I think the experience with the Dolphins proves that McDaniel isn't a leader of men, and you need the OC to be stronger than that to lead the offense. He was only an OC for one year in SF, and Shannahan is the real OC there (and has his own issues leading his team). McDaniel is a great play designer but awful football coach.

For as much crap as Nick gets for not being an offensive mastermind, he knows how to lead the team and keep them focused on the task right in front of them.

Guessing being arrested is a standard condition precedent in every Cowboy contract. Now he can be paid.

Kinda like chess in that regard. If you weren't playing seriously before the age of ten, you have no chance of ever becoming a super grandmaster/world title contender.

I don't play it but soccer seems to have the same attribute, you don't have to be a physical god to play it.

Soccer players are running nonstop for 45 minute halves. Try running steadily for 45 minutes.

No wonder Micah couldn't get paid

For sure - our defense is playing well - our offense needs to get an influx of creativity and create their own space.

Russia started WW2 loosely allied with Germany as both attacked Poland.

Yes Germany then turned on them but its not like Russia's leadership were a bunch of world saving humanitarians.

No Shipley but everyone else is good to go

I’m going to meet you halfway; rather than being creative I expect the offense to go back to 11 personnel shotgun with a dose of QB runs and deep balls along the sidelines. This will create the space required so that Saquon can find daylight and deliver a throwback performance.

Or they might be speaking Russian.

I thought about posting that but the Germans were also having their resources sapped in N. Africa & Italy. Plus having their factories, transportation network and fuel supplies disrupted by aerial attacks. Lend Lease trucks played a big role in making the Red Army mobile. If not for those factors the eastern front may have turned out differently.

Regarding the Brotherly Shove......

I know some are complaining about the Eagles, more specifically their Guards, getting off the ball early. I've never noticed this before so is it something they've always done? Not to mention the replays are in slow motion so if they moved a split second early it looks alot worse in slow motion. In real time it doesnt look that obvious. I bet if you slow motioned every snap in the NFL you'd see a ton of early movement.

Ask the Ukrainians. It's a good bet they still remember the government induced famines of the 1930s.

And not just trucks.

More than 14,000 U.S. airplanes, 8,000 of which came from Alaska, were given to the Soviet Union in the course of the war.

The USSR received a total of 44,000 American jeeps, 375,883 cargo trucks, 8,071 tractors and 12,700 tanks. Additionally, 1,541,590 blankets, 331,066 liters of alcohol, 15,417,000 pairs of army boots, 106,893 tons of cotton, 2,670,000 tons of petroleum products and 4,478,000 tons of food supplies made their way into the Soviet Union.

The false starts were real - but are our guards also setting up too far forward into the neutral zone? The refs have to do their job and bring order to the chaos. Our sins are well documented in the last week but the opposing defenses have increasingly been creeping up, barking and desperate to stop the shove.

I don't have much to base this off of but I think they were a little too early against the Chiefs than usual, probably due to crowd noise. Andy was complaining about it and he wasn't watching in slow motion. I also think they would have showed it a lot before in previous games if they were often early.

Problem now is I have no doubt the NFL is going to instruct the refs to watch like hawks and call it without leeway. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see a 3rd or 4th and 1 turn into "and 6" on Sunday.
