They should get back on track big time.

Prediction to @mattwill or it doesn't happen 😁, you still have time.

Actually, Martin Frank is dumb. Byron Young was a FP and didn't even have a game status. Of course he's playing.

Carter vs Young

My first instinct was Jalen Carter being out. They can plug in Robinson for Young and do some other things.

If Carter's not playing we could be in trouble.

LOL

The Giants have like one player on offense they get the ball to. If they can't stop them without Carter they have far deeper issues.

I got one in there late.

Eagles 27

Giants 20

Am I overreacting or is it too early to be going into a church and lighting a candle for the team ? I’m sure there are more sensible ways to help the team, but I don’t trust the offense as a whole to actually play well enough to not have the defense Fed late in the game.

Too early for a church, but not for a synagogue

Skattebo is a load and has 20-25lbs on DeJean. I wouldn't want Cooper trying to take him on head up, hit him low, I don't think he will have to hit him to far downfiled in open field though, Skattebo is a slower back with a lower center of gravity and seems to have a knack of keeping his feet. He ran all over the Texas defense last year in the CFP, hell he did everything that game (148 rushing - 2 TDS, 99 receiving, and a passing TD. Texas had the #3 defense last year. Skattebo is a determined player but I don't think his NFL career will be a lengthy one, the physicality he plays with is not sustainable. He is a ferocious blocker.

Is Skattebo any bigger than Henry?

Derrick Henry has about 50 pounds on DeJean and it didn't matter much

You beat me to it.

Not all of us.

I'm no guru but either will do, but you may get a more consistent performance level .from Jacobs Who is RB1 as I'd be tempted to play both.

Sorry meant to say RB1. Barkley has been disappointing of late. Jacobs has had his moments.

I'm riding the Rico Dowdle wave at RB2.

For FLEX, Egbuka has been crushing it.

Definitely not... @LeanMeanGM brought that to my attention earlier, I had forgotten DJ had already faced Henry...The guy you don't want trying to run through Skattebo is Makuba, he can hit but he is light in the seat, he wrecked the GA QB last year at the goal line.

I am just praying to St. Anthony that they find a running game.

Through that lens it supports my position that Joe Gibbs was better than both. He won Super Bowls coaching Joe Theismann, Doug Williams, and Mark Rypien.

I think Gibbs might be the best ever, personally. I don't think there's another HC that won championships with such different teams than Gibbs. 3 different starting QBs. Very different personalities to those teams. Just an amazing coach.

Walsh was great, but only did it with Montana.
Belichick... always with Brady.

Lombardi with Starr.

Very very few have ever done it with 2 QBs, let alone 3.

Nah, big night for Jordan Davis.

That's really high praise, but hey, maybe? He is definitely a dude of a ball coach.

Yeah. I don't say it lightly. I've always seen him in a different class than most others. He's in the discussion, for sure. But, as great as Walsh was, he only ever did it one way. It was a great way, but it wasn't super flexible. Lombardi was great, but also only had the one way. Gibbs was different. He was more adaptable.

Maybe I am way off in that assertion, but that's how I view things.

I don't think you can go wrong in all honesty. The other option is to play all 3 if you have a flex position available.

This is pretty accurate.

Good RB and a decent to good TE. But NO RECEIVERS. They do not have a starting caliber WR tonight. Rookie QB. O line that is fair, at best.

D line is solid, though.

None of the above is hyperbole.

Parcells and Seifert are the only other 2 coaches. Parcells didn't win with the QB the second time. Hoestetler played competently but it was about Otis Anderson and the defense. Seifert won with Young and Montana. Gibbs also had back to back Super Bowl appearances with Theisman.

It’s not going away. I wouldn’t be shocked if we start seeing Tuesday and more Friday games

Neutralize the Giants pass rush. And good things should happen. I'm not smart enough to know how to do that though.
