Dry needling is how I landed Mrs Hutpenis. If over the pants genital stimulation were a master craft, consider me Obi-Won Kenobi. @mikemack8 knows.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Well it can't be Hurts. He single-handedly won the SB

Honestly, I feel like Hurts had two really good games as a passer in 2024, and of those two games, any QB who's not turning the ball over probably wins one of them (Super Bowl). Frankly the most impressive part of that performance is more that he holds firm against the pressure, which is what has people crazy about him. And while not crumbling under pressure deep in the playoffs is an extremely good trait, that doesn't matter if you don't get there.

We've been able to get there with decent rate recently because of so much talent at practically every position, but that won't be the case forever...

We’ll see if we get a bounce back game from Hurts at home against a weak opponent. That should be the expectation. I listened to the first quarter on Westwood One and they made reference to Sirianni being much more involved in game preparation for the Chargers game, sitting in on the meetings, giving input, etc. The consensus seems to be there was some changes and enhancement to the offensive plays — and Hurts struggled, perhaps because he was forced out of his routine.

Everyone should expect a top QB to rebound strongly from a 4 INT game.

My biggest thing with Hurts has always really been the same thing. He is not decisive with the football, and him not throwing on time, most of the time, has always been the reason why I don't really like him much as a passer. I always felt that kind of style breaks down early, and that's why we don't see QBs that last into their mid 30's like other franchises. The league catches up, because those kind of QBs don't use the entirety of the scheme to their favor. Some coaches are good enough to combat this, but the vast majority are not. Most QBs that have very long longevity do so because they are fundamentally sound on QB basics - read speed, getting rid of the ball on time, etc.

I just don't really know if all these aspects are sustainable otherwise.

I know there's this narrative that Nick is the biggest of dumb dipshits, where the offense only functions where Nick is never involved at all, but I feel like people forget that play-calling is only one part of the offensive schedule. Patullo mentions in here, like articles back from that year did, that Sirianni was still very hands on during the 'first couple years' (which would be 2021 and 2022), which of course includes Hurts' best year.

I think people kind of squirm to avoid giving Sirianni any kind of credit, because a lot of people still don't like how he behaved at times, so they feel vindicated if he's a big dumb ***** who does nothing for the Eagles and is the worst X's and O's coach in league history, but honestly the slander is pretty crazy sometimes.

Nick's involvement just fuels the narrative of the biggest of dumb dumbs.

You guys are hilarious. You act like Hurts is disabled or something.

"Shane, how did you prevent Hurts from pooping his pants and smearing it all over the football?"

This is the perfect example of having the first clue vs being in a Cult of Hurts Hate.

Steichen got a head coaching job BECAUSE of Jalen Hurts. Hurts was 2nd in MVP voting and was the best player in the league.

He did not have crazy MVP totals because Siri is a stupid person who shut down the offense for most of the 2nd half in 5 to 10 games.

AJ had 1496 and 11 at 17 a pop

DeVonta had 1196 and 7 at 12.6 a pop.

The only reason they did not combine for 3300+ yards and 22+ TDs is because Siri is a piece of 💩

Brian Johnson went to DC. "Hey bros, let me tell you how bad Jalen Hurts really is!"

"Yeah, please exit the building and hand your pass to the receptionist, you stupid clown. Hurts is 6-3 vs us with 12 TDs to 3 picks and 6 more rushing TDs. We game plan for him all year and he still kicks our butts but you want to tell us he was holding you back? Get the hell out!"

Imagine the spiders that have to crawl around in your head to think Steichen was talking ish about his MVP level SB QB who put up 35 points in a Super Bowl.

Is it as simple as the 2 years they hired/promoted internally they underachieved and the 2 they went outside with Steichen & Moore…

Sydney Brown is the closest thing to Brian Dawkins we have seen and Vick won't let him be unleashed.

3 years. Gotta count Doug and Press Taylor in this as well. That was also coming off a Super Bowl after Howie hired the previous OC who then got hired as another team's HC.

Don't ever mention those two in the same breath ever again

@mattwill

With the weather (wind/cold) and the beaten up OL I want to change my prediction. I'll stick with a grinding Eagles victory.

Eagles 10 Raiders 6

Bonus: Both teams miss at least 1fg.

Unfortunately, dry needling can also be taken to an extreme. Recently, @EaglePhan1986 was let go from his grocery store gig in Maryland for dry needling a russet potato after an old lady already bagged it and put it in her cart. Now he’s a registered sex offender for poking his pickle 🥒 in the potatoes. 🥔

@mattwill

Defensive win here

Eagles 13

Raiders 6

Bonus- Jalen still sucks giant donkey shlong

You sure do have a way with the details. Almost like you have years of experience with this exact event.

He's been cast as a RT and jumbo TE this year and has failed, but hasn't gotten a crack at his actual position. Folks now think he can't do anything despite playing decently at guard for years. I think he'd be an improvement over Toth as he plays with more power. The combination of Toth-Jurgy-Steen in the middle isn't moving the/a needle in the run game.

I don't disagree with the final sentiment. I just don't know how much Pryor has left in the tank... though I just looked it up and strangely, he's only 30. I thought he was much older than that.

I give Nick full credit for the offense.

Every time he’s involved with it, it gets worse. They can’t even hire a real OC and let him do his thing because Nick has to make sure his amateur nonsense is in it somewhere.

Yes he’s gets a ton of credit for the garbage we see on offense.

Pryor was a fun draft prospect. Basically a ginormous college OT with big power, elite frame, and sneaky athleticism who felt like the perfect late round transition into a great starting OG. And then he mostly sucked whenever he got on the field.
