I am 100% so far on my Mahomes analysis that he was young Marino and now he is middle-aged, nothing special, Marino.

He finishes below league average in passer rating and he's in the teens now for 3 years running.

He's a 92 rated passer in a good is 98+ league. He gets great coaching, tremendous speedsters at WR, and a solid D every year.

He's not only not Brady, he's not Montana, and may not be Rodgers.

You can jump up and down about his 7 picks and 6 fumble 16 sacks "Super Bowls" all you want.

Playing like Jim Kelly/Marino/Elway in Super Bowls is not an addition to your resume.

I've said that the only team the Eagles really need to worry about is themselves. They can win out and repeat as SB champions, they really can be the best team but they have been hurting themselves. If they can build on this and perform the rest of the season, go into the playoffs with more confidence and reduce the mistakes, they have a chance. We have to see consistency.

It is an interesting opportunity that no franchise is really body enough to take. A 1.5 year tank job to be an instant SB contender/favorite
