So whats it mean if Rams find a way to lose this??

Well if they beat Az next week and SF lose then the are the 5 seed. As record is the same. They split season series 1-1. divisional record for both are 4-2. But common opponent the rams would have a better record than the niners.

Niners win it means that rams are the 6 seed

Rams peaked too soon. The national media is going to be sad they can’t glaze them this week

Dang. It might be us against the Rams if Lions don't beat the bears.

Let them knock off the Bears and Hawks

I guess theyll have to get back on the GB hype train. Or, just start talking about how good Dallas will be next year.

Rams are throwing the game to face the Eagles.

Also would add that last second loss to Seattle and in the fashion they did was pretty demoralizing. What’s funny is rams had homefield in their grasps up 30-14 and since that moment in time they blew the game and then they got eliminated from HFA without even playing a game

Then again they also don’t have Adams playing and he will be in 2 weeks.

Rams spent all off season planning to stop Barkley and Bijan just smoked them :)

I think the rams losing eliminates the possibility that the Seahawks can be the 6 seed. Seattles loses next week then they are 13-4 and rams can only get to 12-5. So Rams lose this game and niners win next week then it’s rams as the 6 seed. If niners lose and rams win next week then it’s niners based on common opponent record.

I really hope the falcons go up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter…

Rams will most likely rest guys next week and Nick should do the same.

Idk depends on what happens with Seattle/niners. If they indeed lose tonight and niners win they are just resting guys as they are locked into the 6 seed. However if Seattle wins on Saturday night, hard time believing they rather go to Philly (if we stay as the 3 seed) over Carolina (even with Carolina beating them it’s a much easier opponent).

I really was scared of the Rams. The playoff field is so profoundly flawed that momentum and luck are going to play a huge role in who advances and who fails. SF has the most momentum right now. But that can change quickly.

Didn’t realize there was mnf today. I may watch the second half

Moving one of the best guards in the game? Madden level idiocy

Yes. Landon is a warrior, but how much longer does he really have on his knees and ankles? OL are at their best when they are consistently together and able to gel as a unit. Dickerson is in and out of the lineup as is. He's only going to deteriorate more the older he gets. Again, it's not trading players because I don't want them here. It's balancing out contracts so they can keep their defense together.

Rams also forgot there was MNF today

Landon just needs to lose some weight. cam needs to get healthy. We need a

Top 100 pick At OL

They way to get cheap is a Rookie contract at a high cost position like OT or cb. Or even wr.

Lane and AJ probably off the books after the 26 season. Just in time to pay Q and Coop

As much as i hate watching our offense at times, i love fangio and the defense. Good coaching by him and smart players to also recognize it.

I think it means that it would be impossible for our first round opponent to be the Seahawks.

Sorry if I missed, who were your guys?

Well, it's not that they are my guys, but if we want proven, respected (ish), with experience calling plays and running an offense....

Brian Daboll & Brian Calahan. It's a field of 2.

Then we've got soon-to-be fired HC's with that OC experience: Kevin Stefanski (probably getting fired...and Mike McDaniel probably keeps his job by a hair).

And then there are soon-to-be fired OC's. That's Kafka (technically interim HC). Drew Petzing (Gannon's OC and a TE coach before that...throw that one out the window).

I'm sure there are several ascending passing game coordinators, QB coaches, college coaches, WR coaches, etc, etc, who are nice OC candidates...but they check none of the boxes for experience and success calling plays and designing NFL offenses that so many are saying the FO was negligent in not getting this offseason when they committed to Patullo. It's not as simple as it seems.

Once a coach demonstrates an aptitude for designing an offense and calling plays at an NFL level, the HC opportunities will keep coming despite multiple failures at the HC level (Josh Mcdaniels being a great example). They need to demonstrate an organizational and personality-type inability to run a full team to stay as a career OC (Mike Martz, maybe Mcdaniels).

If the line was 9.5 wins then you can't push, so if they finish 9-7-1 you would lose if you had bet the over. The tie in their actual record doesn't matter, the fractional line means you need 10 wins to win the bet.

Okay, thanks. I guess that means that I have to make a nominal money line bet on the Vikings this week. That would at least guarantee a net profit, which was the point of the entire venture to begin with. If the Vikings win, I win enough to put me ahead. If the Packers win, I get the original bet profit, minus what I’d lose on the Vikings bet. Just need to tweak the math.

Vegas called….
