Eagles Fans It's Now or Never. The Road To Repeat begins and we have to go on the long road to the Bowl again. Well to get to Super Bowl LX in San Fran we have to beat San Fran. Playoffs are here. The Regular Season is over and doesn't matter now. The only thing that matters is winning and advancing to the Divisional. The Rams and Bears advanced as The Panthers and Packers lost leads in the 4th. It shows you how the playoffs can flip in a different direction very quickly. The Eagles face the 49ers for the 3rd time in the Playoffs. The Eagles were shutout in the 90's by the Dynasty 49ers. Then the 49ers lost to the Eagles in the NFC Championship during Purdy's rookie year. The 49ers do lead the All Time Series 21-15. Look the 49ers have been one of the top teams in the NFC the last 5 years along with us. They've had a lot of injuries this year but still managed a 12 win season. The Eagles are Defending Super Bowl Champs after being the only Division repeat winner of the NFL Season.

Purdy proved he's much more than "Mr. Irrelevant" by advancing to a Super Bowl a few years ago. The Eagles are home at the Linc where they are 5-0 in the Playoffs in the Sirianni/Hurts Era. The 49ers now have to the fly cross country after getting beat down by the Seahawks last week. The Eagles rested starters and lost the #2 Seed in a loss to Washington with backups. Now the 49ers can put up points but that doesn't mean they can't be shutdown. The 49ers Defense has also given up some big points this year. I expect them to play hard but this is probably a tough spot for them. The Eagles defense has been dominate the since the bye week. The Offense has been up and down but still has been able to get it done for the most part. I see the Eagles jumping out to a lead and the 49ers just not being able to gain footing. Saquon and the running game get going while the D slows down CMC and Kittle. Fangio getting the best of Shanahan while Nick and KP put together a good game plan for once. Jalen and the Offense get it together while the Defense continues to smother opponents. Brock and the 49ers score but not as much. Eagles take down 49ers in Philly and advance to the Divisional.

The biggest problem with all of this that I keep saying is the NFL doesn't get more wide open than this. No dominant teams and nobody more talented on paper than the Eagles.

It was the right decision to test the players. Focus on the Niners.

Anything can happen today but if our OL can just have modest success creating room to run then we should be fine. If not then it becomes a real nail biter. Hope Lane can hold up.

Yeah, last night didnt change anything for me. If anything, it reminded me how bad the defenses are for these teams.…including SF

Bears being down 16 and 18 the last two weeks and had come back. Still lost to the lions in the other game. At some point you get down that big a team is eventually going to put you out of your misery.

You're going to die on that Siri playing 3D chess hill. That would mean the Eagles gave away the #1 seed to keep certain plays/strategy secret the entire year. I hope you are right. We'll see how things play out over the next three (hopefully) weeks.

I just think San Fran has too many injuries and outside of CMC and Kittle I don't see any other playmakers that we actually NEED to worry about.

Secondly, the thing I like if they have to go to Chicago is they’re gonna play with a chip on their shoulder. Their defense knows they got gashed in that game in Philadelphia. They know the Bears offensive line took it to them and overall bears were the more physical team. So I would bet that defensive line and that defense is gonna be out to prove a point in that game. Feels like the eagles offense might also feel like they got de-pants by an analytically bad defense. The defense in particular when they faced the commanders in the playoffs, and then the Chiefs in the Super Bowl played with a chip on their shoulder (the whole sack counting thing). They even said it they went out there with something even more to prove because they saw the commander celebrating. And what the Chiefs did two years ago.

I actually think the Eagles know they got embarrassed on Black Friday by the bears and bullied. Not only that Ben Johnson running his mouth. If they can beat SF i think you see them play with a chip on their shoulder for that game

I believe, this year's Eagles is very similar to the 2023-24 Chiefs team. A team that has a championship defense and still enough stars to get the job done on offense. In a crowd of pretty even teams, their Superbowl Championship experience is going to be the deciding factor, as well as having a pretty healthy squad. I'm gonna enjoy this ride, as it won't be easy. Cheers to our Philadelphia Eagles, as they go for that elusive repeat of being Superbowl Champions. Had my eye on this prize since we demolished those Kansas City Chiefs in February. Would like to stand in that same company, as this generation's best team and shoot for that dynasty. Go Birds!
