Honestly, they'll probably have a collapse and clean house at some point in the next 3 years anyway, so this awkward coaching structure will only have a 2-3 year runway.

Even if you think about it from the standpoint of 'having other responsibilities', if that fails, your season is over anyway. You don't have other responsibilities.

The QB position has changed in recent years and I can't fathom I'm ranking QB's based on how well they run through contact with physicality. But that was part of his game. Vikas posted some weeks ago about Hurts' contract. I think they could get out sooner than 2 years but it'd be financially painful. In 2 years it becomes somewhat practical. At least that's what I remember. They need to consider Hurts when they're O Coordinator shopping.

Sirianni giving up influence on the offense is even more important than not fighting the firing of Patullo. As long as Nick has influence, it will hold back the new OC

1 - He is an awesome NFL QB

2 - Siri makes everything max difficult for him

Intended air yards (IAY) is how deep your average pass is thrown. A higher number there is the opposite of easy dink and dunk.

Hurts is always near the top there too.

The concept of Hurts struggling if things were easier has absolutely zero proof. Its literally a cult of weirdos that preach this.

What these people love to say is that Siri caters the offense to Hurts. No he does not. Its Siri's offense. Now its Siri and Patullo's.

Hurts had a quote this week about just how awful the offense was but he said it in code. He does not want any of this.

Doug did not build an offense for Hurts that Siri inherited. Hurts played in the Wentz Doug offense and ran around like young Randall for 4 games in 2020.

When good OCs were also in place, they worked around that idiot at times but the idiot was always there to screw things up like the second half of games in 2022 and 2025.
