A higher number there is the opposite of easy dink and dunk.Hurts is always near the top there too.The concept of Hurts struggling if things were easier has absolutely zero proof. Its literally a cult of weirdos that preach this. What these people love to say is that Siri caters the offense to Hurts. No he does not. Its Siri's offense. Now its Siri and Patullo's.Hurts had a quote this week about just how awful the offense was but he said it in code. He does not want any of this.Doug did not build an offense for Hurts that Siri inherited. Hurts played in the Wentz Doug offense and ran around like young Randall for 4 games in 2020.The only HC to ever work with Hurts on an offense is an idiot. When good OCs were also in place, they worked around that idiot at times but the idiot was always there to screw things up like the second half of games in 2022 and 2025.You are all so incredibly ignorant and boring. We’ll find out next year.

I don’t see Hurts as a pure drop back passer ever unless he gets an elite playcaller/designer to make life super easy.So due To contracts they are both here next yr and it would be silly to get rid of either until we see what a real OC can doThis offseason will be hard enough. Pat carter and davis, dean and blank leave. Phillips is a wild card. Dont think he was ever a long term plan just a comp pick.Jackson is ok to retain cheap But still need a cb in the draft. And a safety. And an edge rusher. And OL…

And then he engaged in a spat on the sideline. AJ Brown is 100% in the wrong. AJ Brown was a jackass for doing it. Especially after he played as poorly as he did. And frankly, he should’ve had to talk to the media, like everyone else did. That said my head coach does not need to be getting into verbal spats on the sideline. If AJ’s gonna be a jackass, let him be a jackass. You don’t have to stoop down to his level, say something to continue to escalate the situation. Walk away. Furthermore, I also don’t like when my head coach talk crap to our own fans about barely winning a game against the Browns last year. Or the fact that he runs off the field talking crap to other teams fans when his offense failed to complete a pass in the second half of a game.Exactly, and if you as a head coach can't keep your composure and discipline in critical situations, is it any surprise that so many of his players can't either and keep getting called for avoidable penalties?

That team completely cratered. I dont blame Siri for trying to go about it differently. There wasnt a great candidate for OC to start the year. There sure as hell wasnt a good candidate halfway through the season either. I suspect Loeffler did get a little more responsibility towards the end of the season. And someone else started scripting plays to start the game. They can do a quiet demotion without reporting it to the media.

Hopefully for Sirianni, whoever they get is better than Scangarello and Mornhinweg.I wouldn’t say 0%. I think the only way he gets fired is if the Eagles go to him and say we want you to get a new offensive coordinator. We don’t think patullo is any good, he’s gone and we’re gonna go get you one. If sirianni says no, I’m not going to fire him and we can fix this. Then I think there’s a chance he gets fired. Otherwise I don’t think he gets fired.

The main guys are all top 10 which is too expensive compensation wise and I think RT is going to be more imperative to find. So I'd guess OT with a trade up.

QB skills... Hurts lacks them.

Three big drops in a playoff game and one of them on a deep ball where he clearly alligator armed it because the safety was coming over. Then he sneaks out of the locker room without talking afterwards, lol. After all of the ishe he talked all year and all of the drama he caused to have a half assed performance like that in a playoff game is pathetic. Also, EVERYONE is responsible for the KP problem which includes Lurie, Roseman, etc. NOBODY should be left off the hook. Shanahan got more out of Demarcus FN Robinson and a FB in this game against a secondary with two all pro corners than Patullo was able to get from Brown and Smith against a horrible defense. Sirianni is a moron too. They take a timeout and with their season on the line and a 4th and 11 they run four verticals. Utterly pathetic. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. Not only should Patullo be fired it had better happen within 24 hours. There needs to be a clear statement made to Nick that he needs to get out of the way or get out himself. One big drop. The first the wind caught hold of it and the ball took a dive, without the wind thats probably a bucket drop into double coverage.2nd drop was clearly DPI or illegal contact, without the illegal contact AJ has a clear path to the end zone.3rd drop was a bad drop, it happens he catches those balls 99 out of 100 times.Siri is a clown for yelling at him, when siri should have been yelling at the refs for the obvious PI. Siri not having his players back is a bad look.AJ was right, this year was a 💩 show, I have no animosity towards AJ, his clown coach and OC let him down all year and again today.

And you know what? At the end of the day, we didn't do a good enough job of doing that and that starts with me.”Nick Sirianni on the offense not being consistent this season for a full 60 minutes."That was not a good first half

3 hours ago3 hr Just now, LeanMeanGM said:That was not a good first halfNot by fans standards. But compared to expectations for this year's version of the offense, they scored 13 which was on pace for 26. Thats a huge output for them, and 26 points with our defense probably makes us an undefeated super bowl champion this year.Compared to most teams expectations 13 points is a fine first half.
3 hours ago3 hr I see one big positive moving forward and one soul-sucking void of a negative:Positive: 16 regular season games (ignoring that last rest game) clearly demonstrated that the Eagles weren’t winning the SB this year and are not a dynasty. An early playoff exit gives them a longer offseason to recover, a better draft pick, and enough of a mandate for the best GM in the NFL to make some necessary but potentially bold changes to move off things that didn’t work this year.Negative: 10 of 11 offensive starters not just under contract…but locked in and immovable with inflated deals. This was one of the worst offenses in the NFL this year and we are stuck with the EXACT same overpaid personnel next year potentially minus the one guy who wasn’t overpaid this year (Dallas Goedert)…and HE figures to either be gone or overpaid himself next year. Everyone thinks a new OC is going to flip a switch. It may be better, but that’s a really simplistic and naive viewpoint. Toggle ***on*** the "scheme open WRs” button and all will be ok. This offense is an anchor strung around the collective neck of this team and there’s nothing they can do to change personnel.

The O-line certainly didn't play like that and it affected the run game. We had other weaknesses on the roster as well. Pass rush wasn't as good. Got better after getting Phillips. Not saying we dont have talented players. Of course we do but its just that some act like top to bottom there are no weaknesses, which is far from reality.
3 hours ago3 hr Just now, we_gotta_believe said:Exactly, and if you as a head coach can't keep your composure and discipline in critical situations, is it any surprise that so many of his players can't either and keep getting called for avoidable penalties?Yep. It’s why @ManuManu and I laughed every time he’d go to the podium and say they’re detailed and together. Because all year they haven’t been detailed. The fine details have not been there all year. it’s cost them in games. It’s cost them on drives. If they were better detailed, they wouldn’t be making the same penalties and mistakes over and over again. define details weren’t there all year. Like I said AJ Brown was 100% the wrong. But this is 2 wrongs do not make a right.

I was really disappointed to see Vic roll with coverage exclusively rather than pressure schemes to start the game. He didn't show the 5 man front on first down until the 3rd drive of the game. He usually starts a little slow then nails it on the adjustments. The biggest lesson from last week was how poorly Purdy handled pressure. The Niners do one thing really well with Purdy...they consistently find people in the intermediate middle of the field over and over again...I really believed Vic would take those plays away by pressuring and not giving enough time for those plays to develop.
3 hours ago3 hr Ignorant people have this dream that Aikman was this great passer in a Norv Turner / Coryell timing system. He threw up some deep go balls to Harper. He hit Irvin 8-15 yards downfield after Irvin shoved the DB out of the way.He hit open Novacek on the seam or sat down in a zone like Kelce. He handed off to Emmitt 25+ times a game.GTFODude had 165 TDs to 141 picks. He topped 19 TD passes onceHe averaged 17 TDs to 14 1/2 picks per 17 games. He added nothing in the run game.He sits in judgement of real QBs every week. Its seriously funny. He's consulting on a GM pick now! 🤡Aikman has 174 career TDs and played until he was 34.Hurts has 173 at age 27.These comparisons to hold Hurts up to do not exist.Stafford is a junk baller. He throws the ball up to WR1 and WR2 this year because he has Adams. He's not throwing blind timing passes all over the field. he sees open dude and throws it or he 5050s to WR god Puka. After 2021 god Kupp and career god Megatron. He is 4 games over .500 because he is not special.Brady was a demigod. Manning eventually became a master technician around age 28 or so. He still struggled in the playoffs.Rodgers played stats ball where he threw the ball away or took sacks instead of picks. Passer rating over wins.He peaked in the 2010 playoffs through the 2011 regular season. He is 7-9 in the playoffs from 2011 to present. People call him a top 5 QB.You think Philip Rivers was a master technician?Did he look like one this year?He had 2 seasons of 10+ wins in his last 11 years. He averaged 14.7 picks a year and led the league in picks twice.Any fool can pretend that there is this QB greatness standard above Hurts and then pretend that 40 other QBs hit that standard including 10 playing now.Its 100% BS.
