You could even argue they were dominating in that stretch. But the first 49ers drive was the worst the D looked on an opening drive all year. The 4th quarter Purdy was carving them up and moving the ball at will. The pass rush reverted to what it looked like when Uche was the sack leader. Overall, it was a bad performance. I'm not going to assign blame % as we all know the offense is clearly #1, but the Defense had it's hand in losing the game yesterday. It's a shame because the D carried them to the WC round but they had an inconsistent game at the worst time.Have to give credit to Shanahan. He had some plays in his pocket and dialed them up to get the matchups he wanted. All three worked for TD's and then some.

He looks much heavier now. https://youtu.be/ZcJRQcV7HTk?si=f7woqsk2TnLR5Rh7Dickerson should in Jordan Davis’s ear trying to learn everything he did to shed weight. Maybe Dickerson should get a Peleton and really get in shape instead of trying to start a home renovation social media personality. I kid, it’s OK to have hobbies, but he really does need to drop 25 lbs or so.

This past season didn't bode well for him. The defense played well (even better in some regards) when he was sidelined and with Davis as the focus at DT. And that could be a red flag for the Eagles brass. His talent is undeniable but it's whether he can get it all together and perform up to his talent level on a consistent basis - without side distractions, health issues etc etc - is what will likely determine his future here and future contract anywhere.

He’s a current draft crush of mine.I watched David Bailey twice destroy any hopes of BYU making the college football play off, hes an absolute monster on a stacked D that like this team got let down by a crap offense Dont think bailey drops anywhere near the 20s.Elite college pass rushers with good measurables go top 15.

Maybe not. But it's something he can control.

I stay off Twitter so I couldn't get it, and didn't want to edit it together from the video and audio (they were separate when I pulled it down). I really looked back to early 2021, before Steichen called plays and...Yeah. Yikes. It's like an entirely different offense.

Carter had a nice sack, which was more the result of Phillips pass rush forcing Purdy into his lap, but other than that I didn’t notice him. Wait, he had the roughing the passer call on the trick play, which A. I thought was a weak call and B. Didn’t realize could be called on a player who wasn’t the QB.
6 hours ago6 hr Have we been given the fresh ideas line yet?I will never understand the logic of promoting an internal coach to OC that has never called plays while the team is in a SB window. The starting offense only eclipsed 200 yards passing 8 times all season, and only twice did they go over 200 passing and 100 rushing.
6 hours ago6 hr This year was a waste because of Patuallo and Hurts. Next year will be a waste because of just Hurts.

I’m trying to talk him down to pick 23!

Should of been reversed had it mattered. Which makes me question the officiating even more.
6 hours ago6 hr It's going to be interesting to see what they do with Jake Elliott. This is the second year in a row he's struggled at stretches of the season. Like Graham, love him for being clutch in the 2 SB wins. But it's probably time to go. The issue is cutting him is over $6M in dead money. He's also pretty clearly one of the "franchise guys" on the team. What they do with him might be a peek into what their off-season plan is. If they keep him around, it's probably going to be more of the same. If they move on from him, they might feel more of an overhaul is needed than just a tweak here and there.

Harsh for an Eagles kicking ledge, but times up.

They ran a little pick on Dean first and by the time Dean picks up McCaffery on the flat route, McCaffery cuts inside and makes the catch.
