Well, tomorrow coverage begins at 1.

I will be out of town at that time.

I might not be able to post about the QB 40 times.

If you had your choice for the Eagles. You could guarantee every year that

A) You make the playoffs. No guarantee beyond that but you guarantee you make the playoffs every year. After that you're on your own.

B) You get to hand pick one player falls to the Eagles in the draft every year. Can be any player you want. But no guarantees for success.

What would you pick?

Hmmm… if the eagles are making the playoffs every year, then they don’t need my help… and I don’t need my house egged.

Interesting discrepancy here. Bud Clark ran a 4.48 and a 4.45 but his official time is a 4.41

Neither of his times were even close to a 4.41. But Im much happier to see that speed on him even though the other times were fine.

not specific enough. But generally I despise the "just get into the tournament every year” philosophy, which is bs. So I guess option B because I at least know I’m getting some elite guys.

By make the playoffs, does that mean they can go 0-17 and magically make the playoffs the same way you can magically hand pick anyone to drop in the draft?

Klare looking good. Im mad at him though.

Might be nitpicking but his hands seemed weak

I think a yr or two of Strength training, Klare could be very good

Ive checked out some of the players who stood out today. Texas CB Muhammad, and then safeties, Styles, Spears-Jennings, Kilgore, Payne, and Nwankpa.

Surprisingly despite their workouts, Im not really adding anyone to my wants other than Kilgore. Im sold on him as a target. No one else really.

I can see Muhammad as a decent CB2. But if thats what you look like in college, then Im not confident in that in the NFL. I also really wanted ball production. He doesnt have the INTs, and he doesnt jump out enough in any way to make me want him in spite of that. Hes ok. Nothing more.

Most of those other guys just look like workout warriors. And Id take a lesser athlete at safety like Bishop Fitzgerald over those guys. Id take Hezekiah Masses over the better athlete in Muhammad. Sticking with my guys.

I really with Stukes and Bud Clark were younger. Pairing those 2 in a secondary would be awesome. 2 ball hawking safeties with great athleticism.

Living down here in Houston ive seen quite a few TCU games and I really like Clark. He really deserved more national press i believe.

I dont know. You may be. Or maybe youre seeing something I havent picked up on. Maybe at some point we will hear some PFF stats on drop% and contested catches or something like that. If you check out his highlights from Purdue where he was really used as a receiving TE, he looks as dynamic as Stowers as a receiver. He was smooth, and he looked smooth moving today. Im sold on him as an all around TE. Maybe TE2 after Sadiq.

For sure. But 6th year senior with some injuries... without that, maybe youre talking about him as a 1st round prospect.

Good point. Plus PFF shows he had 9 missed tackles last year so that doesnt exactly inspire confidence.

Prediction: he's going to go in the top half of round 1 to a team that should definitely be drafting a lineman instead, and I'm going to be a salty **** about it anyway despite all logic. Draft crush.

I cant even tell you guys how excited I am for the WR workouts tomorrow. If you scroll through 3 or 4 pages of IWTETG Ive already made quite a few threads.

Now, it seems like our WR corps may begin to be remade.

Again, Solak indicated we should be looking for WRs who have inside/outside flexibility as the packers WRs all played at least 20% of their snaps from the slot.

We saw the meeting with Antonio Williams who seems to be one of those guys. There are a lot in this draft. Body types like Reed or Golden.

As free agents Christian Kirk should rise up our list. Shaheed. Metchie. Jalen Nailor as a cheaper option. Although a bit bigger, I still like Gabe Davis.

Im not gonna list all my draft guys right now.

Brennan Thompson may be the fastest player at the combine this year and yes we already had a 4.2 today. I think this is the guy maybe @ManuManu posted a twitter clip of quite a few weeks back.

Hes not yet one of my big draft wants, but I am very curious to see what he runs.

B. They already make the playoffs.

On the theme of searching for a TE who can block, Kyle Crabbs gets right in to his underrated player in this draft with Riley Nowakoswki. TE/FB out of Indiana.

"AJ, we put you out to assess whether folks would offer the value we would need and none did. You have to understand that we have to account for your cap hit. Unfortunately, no one offered us what we would need and what we really need is you to play like you are able. We think you are a great player. Extension? Well, we can talk about that after this season as long as we don’t see a repeat of last season. (Fingers crossed).

He’s just negotiating. When push comes to shove one late 1st with another low pick will do it.

Art of the Deal baby!

yeah that is pretty unheard of from anyone. I cant really recall a 45 in the NFL or the NBA even.

Spud Webb. 46. Extra crazy based on his size.
