Agree. Give me Epps at 3M over Reed at 7-9M.

Based on what Epps did last year, thats a downgrade. Hes also been injury prone.

The new OC pretty much brought in his Coaching staff. So I'd assume he be given leeway to bring in a few new players that fit his scheme.

This will be a fun off season. 😎😎

just hope it wont be Doubs

1st, 3rd, and Craig Woodson to the eagles. AJ Brown and a 4th to the Patriots

In a hypothetical scenario where Fangio retires and Spagnulo lands back in Philly with his blitz packages, not only would we have a position for the extra off ball LB in our defense, but there would be no one better than Dean. Man would that defense utilize him to his strengths...

It doesnt matter much to me what happened in the past. When you look at the evolution of the position, and how it us used today, values can change.

If you had a re-draft, both of those guys would go in round 1.

We've done pretty well with both Goedert and Ertz in the 2nd round. I think we can repeat that again this time. Having said that, I agree with you that it is certainly a question to ask. I'd have loved to have gotten Warren last year for example.

Hate to see Dean go but it is what it is

A big need. Add a CB and we're right back in the hunt.

Still missing safety, we literally only have one under contract. Good draft for it and some decent free agents too there.

Thieneman really flew up the boards, I was in on him months back when he was a 2nd round projection, now he may go prior to 23. McNeil-Warren didn't blow the combine up, but I don't care. If anything, that pushes him down which could only help if we have interest which I assume we do with the Mitchell and Toledo connections. He brings a physical nature which would continue to improve and push this defense to the next level. Haulcy, Kilgore, Ramsey and Stukes are other nice safeties and Stukes is interesting, more of a corner actually but versatile. Stukes is a target of mine. Kilgore extremely physical in nature and enforcer, 6-1 ; 210 and ran a 4.4 flat.

Yeah there are players who can be tempting but the argument for positional value even last year still held more weight to me. Now, Im starting to reconsider considering the coaching change.

It makes sense to look at every position on O this year with the same lens. No doubt that his happening in the FO.

Late round/UDFA sleeper. Had a thread in IWTETG for Landon Robinson, DT from Navy. He is a short, stout run defender. It showed up in his workout with 30 bench press reps. I said he reminds me of Poona Ford who I always wanted. Hes very undersized and carved out a long career for himself now. These guys have hidden pass rush ability that Ford ha showed off at times as well. Robinson's workout would have been a top performer at the combine.

The shopping list:

Ben Solak mentioned how GB receivers all played at least 20% of their snaps in the slot indicating inside outside versatility is a focus when scouting WRs for our new offense.

OL and RBs who can run OZ.

And possibly a new focus on TE as it may become a focal point of the offense.

I hope Dickerson and Jurgens can move next year. Their limitations were the biggest problem on the O this year BY FAR. Then of course Patullo/Nick came up with close to nothing to deal with the problem other than the heavy alignment which died fore th most part the moment Lane couldn't play.

The combine rankings for Robinson's workouts, as well as arm lengthy which was nearly 32''- very nice for a short guy.

After June, could this make sense? AJ for Waddle and a pick?

With an amount of teams with significant cap space he’s gone. Hoping he just doesn’t go to Dallas. I could see a team like the raiders, titans or jets just overpaying him

Why don't you insist upon Milt too then.

I wouldnt want to sound greedy ...

When Nakobe was healthy, I thought he played well. A heat seeking missle at the LB spot. Not great in space, but good enough. Between the tackles, I thought he was really good. Especially for his size.

Hopefully Campbell can replace him.

We have three and two CBs that can play S. Not saying S is not a need, I 100% agree on that. Just correcting a statement. Mukuba, Brown and Sam are all under contract. (3 safeties, not 1). Now that doesn’t mean I want either Brown or Sam starting. Both Coop and M Carter can play S. Carter was a S in college. That said, it is damning to Carter that they signed Epps rather than start him when Mukuba went down. Sam has great instincts but is just too slow. Coop needs to stay where he is. I would love it if Brown had Sam’s instinct and football IQ or Sam had Brown’s athleticism. So drafting one is a no brainer. BTW, with that contract, Carter should go. That said, it is strange that Howie didn’t let him go ahead of free agency as that sort,of thing is kind of standard for the Birds.

I would re-sign Nakobe before Reed.

2 1sts for Crosby is insane

F the Ravens lol

I tend to agree with the eagles stance of 10+ for Reed I’m letting him walk. I can find a S better than him for slightly more money or a cheaper option that is likely close to his talent.

Listening to Moving The Chains yesterday they mentioned Dean as a guy for the Bengals to bring in to shore up the middle of their defense.

Me too. Unfortunately, I would assume that both leave. Goedert too. 🙃🙃
