Bingo.

We will never get the answer to this, but part of me wonders if they do trade him if their logic when they drafted him was, he’s the best player available. Let’s draft him on his rookie contract as we believe when he plays he’ll be great with the guys we have around him. If we still have concerns when getting close to extension time we can trade him and get capital back.

Imo I still think he’s gonna be extended. I also think the Crosby rumor with cater was BS made to get clicks cause a reporter heard eagles interested in Crosby and parsons said what he did and it went viral. Putting two together, reporter saw an avenue to have that rumor go viral

Yup why i said was waiting to see how it’s structured. the extension on the surface is $26 mil but with 5th year option included they could’ve have done some maneuvering

Howie is clearly giving Davis the big contract to convince everyone that picking Davis instead of Hamilton wasn't a huge mistake.

I feel like Carter is our 2nd or 3rd best player and a top 4 DT in the nfl I truly do not get our own fan hate for him. So random

Not a fan of that big ass contract

Don't gotta make fun of the man's weight, he got in good shape this year!

He's a lock for several personal fouls in a season and is a suspension waiting happen. I worry about where his attitude goes after he gets paid.

It’s a shame he had a down year. Injuries probably lowered his value at the worst time.

I could see the eagles going after brisker or nick cross at safety who may be cheaper than Blankenship. Both are young and the eagles may believe one of them Bounces back to what brisker was early in his career or cross was in 2024.

I think it’s more about what he will act like once he’s not playing for a contract anymore. He’s already had some issues on his rookie deal.

I agree he is a monster on the field when healthy.

Not listed, clutch game winning field goal blocks.

Clever by Howie to pay his buddy first. Should motivate JC something fierce if he wants the bag too.

This seems high until the next round of DT contracts hits the books.

Also, good luck to Dallas on that Quinnen Williams extension.

Just put language in the contract that offsets certain guarantees if suspensions occur.

I'm good with this. Seems a little pricey on the surface, but roughly 22/year isn't bad. Especially because the market is going to continue to go up.

Good stuff

Wow. If true, it's on now.

Maybe I’m out of the loop, but who the hell is Rickey scoops. I hadn’t heard of this guy up until like last offseason. I tend to believe Jeremy Fowler more. That said i think Phillips is gone.

Pickens and Williams extensions should be fun fireworks from afar

Davis got in shape and played extremely well last year and as a true NT and is a great culture guy. That's the value give a take a million or 3. Not sure why anyone would think he'd be signing for 20 in this market.

Yep. Not only that people saying they would have brought back Milton instead are insane. Last year Jordan Davis was WAY more impactful than MIlton ever was. Davis EASILY the Eagles best DL/Edge rusher on the team last season.
