Davis EASILY the Eagles best DL/Edge rusher on the team last season. Ojomo replaced Williams on a rookie deal. Worth it.

I tend to believe Jeremy Fowler more. That said i think Phillips is gone.Just an anonymous Twitter guy with obvious league connections.

It's a carrot dangled in front of Carters nose now. There were conditioning issues spoken about with him last year. Now let him be motivated. And still that has to worry you a bit about paying him yuge.
March 7Mar 7 Not sure if they are going to drive JC as hard this season. Vic doesn’t run a deep rotation, which is honestly questionable given length of the season.

If Carter is truly on the trade table and Ojomo is a FA at the end of 2026, DT might not be off the table if one falls to them early

March 7Mar 7 Jalen Carter is not on the trade block, I'll go head to head with Rickey Scoops any day and when I win I want to officially be branded board insider.
March 7Mar 7 Jalen Carter is so good. And he hasn't reached his peak yet. What he is, and the idea of what he can become means there will always be a large group of binary thinkers who will not be willing to try to wrap their head around the possibility of trading him and will dismiss all potential reasons supporting it.Facts are-He was a poor character prospect in the draft that some didnt even want even if he fell to us somehow.-He has continued to show poor judgement in the NFL.-Many people were upset with him 2 years ago when he started the season slowly. Barkley eventually lit a fire under him. After Barkely asked "why not you" or something along those lines. From that point on JC played great. Until then his season was looking disappointing. Fans questioned "consistency".-He has conditioning issues. They were spoken about by Fangio this season, and maybe even Carter addressed them? I dont remember for sure but I remember Fangios comment.-He has shoulder issues. Both shoulders. That affected his entire season even after missing time. That may be a long term concern. With that, will his full potential ever be realized, or remain something of legend?Id keep him in spite of character issues. There has been nothing so bad that the Eagles couldnt keep it covered up. I'll accept an occasional penalty if he is going to become historically good. But with ALL of those things? I totally get if the Eagles wont commit long term, and even if they trade him I'll understand.
