He’s a great WR WHEN HE IS HAPPY AND MOTIVATED. The team is better with him on it WHEN HE IS HAPPY AND MOTIVATED.

Losing Carter, AJ, Goedert, Dean, Stout all in one off-season, that certainly seems that we are slipping back into mediocrity, contenders still, but not at the top of the heap that we have been used too. Stout and Carter specifically are unique advantages the other 31 teams did not have, that stings to not have them. Howie would have to do some major out of the box work to get us back to the top, but he needs to be near perfect with draft selections and FA signings. Last year he did not hit like the year before and Huff was a bust of a signing, he's not perfect and no one is with these things.

I’ll be honest I just don’t get the logic of trading Carter? I know it may just be rumours and it may not happen but I don’t get it. When he’s healthy and he’s playing well he’s a game wrecker. Now maybe they are concerned about his attitude but I can just see him on another team absolutely destroying OLs. Sure the draft capital may be nice but there’s absolutely no guarantee you get a player anywhere near his level.

Who is Carters agent? Rosenbaus?

It is because Eagle fans like to see the world burn. It is in our nature for some reason.

Why can't we ever have a drama free offseason?

Because we're good. Because Howie has the impossible task of prioritizing some fan favorites over others. Because everyone is paying attention. If we sucked, there'd be turmoil without the drama.

Yes

I can’t wait for teams to finally talk to agents about their players at 12 pm today.

Are we right to the bargain bin, or does Howie have a big move this week…

I'm hoping there's a big move, or somewhat big at least that can help propel us to the top of the NFC. Losing to the depleted Niners the way we did where no one stepped up was a big let down, need more to get back to where we were in 24'. Teams in this conference and even division will be better by the time FA wraps up so Howie needs to get creative to find ways to get better and not stay the same.

Read he was a target here. Would've been much better than Jackson. Hopefully there's someone else we can target that is not scraped off the bottom of the barrel to man CB2

Run it back - this time with a healthy OL, a dynamic offensive scheme and Howie will thread the needle on a shoestring budget to patch the roster holes.

I can understand that but the competition this year will be better than it was in 2024. I'm not sharing that same confidence that we can not improve the roster and win another one. Gotta keep pushing this roster.

After the Davis deal, man...the defense is gonna get real expensive real soon...especially if we actually re-sign Phillips. Phillips, Carter, Mitchell, DeJean, Hunt, Smith...yikes! We won't pay all of them so something will have to give but damn!

CB2 isn't going to be a big investment for the team. It can't be. Adoree Jackson was good once they figured out how to mitigate his weaknesses.

We knew this for the last 2 years.

We’ll see if Rickey’s right, but he said Phillips is a done deal and will return. He said it "sounds like” Hendrickson to Dallas.

That Jaguar CB deal wasn't a backbreaker. Howie should be able to muster up a deal of that nature and someone better than Jackson. Jackson did get better but he can be improved upon pretty easily I feel.
