Can't imagine anything big is going to happen. Too little money and too many guys that are going to need deals soon.

I don't think we'll be bad next year by any means, but I do think we're going to hover around average.

This is a well above average roster assuming the o-line is healthy. If the team is an 7 to 9 win team, Sirinanni will be fired and Hurts might be gone.

Seriously though DAL didn’t have a lot of choice here. Good run blocking, less than adequate pass blocking. They were either going to be eating too much dead money and having to find an unknown replacement or resigning at a lower cost and keeping him…not a fan of this but it is what it is. This is nothing more than taking an avg to below avg RT to save cap space. Trying to recoup some of the the overpay from previous years.

Not a fan of this at all as of right now. Been reading the guy is declining and the two years remaining on his contract 19m/26, 22m/27 is a steep price, I need to see more details. I think DAL was afraid of not getting help at Edge and moved too quick on this. Maybe I’m wrong, we’ll see. I really wanted them to pursue Oweh from the Chargers, maybe he’s too high priced idk.

I liked Gary, but he may be declining. A 2027 4th isn’t a lot to give up. It surprises me that that’s the best the Pack could get

First thing I thought was, if Gary is their big splash at edge, thats great for eagles fans. I was a fan in the draft. He never lived up to what I thought he could be. Hes been a solid player. Thats it. And yeah, hes probably in decline.

The pick isn’t the issue I have with this, it’s the contract and his age. I want them going younger. This appears to be a CP want as they were both in GB Gary’s first two years in the league, CPs first two years as well.

I thought you guys should cut Steele, but I guess this works.

Jerry showing ONCE AGAIN he is clueless by trading for Gary. Now, a 2027 4th for Gary is good value, and Gary is a very solid edge rusher, but...just like QW and KC, Jerry traded for a potential contract headache. Gary, like Clark, has zero guaranteed money left on his deal. As he enters his age 29 season, it's time for him and his agent to get his last payday. He is under contract at $19.5mm in 2026 and $22.5mm in 2027, but does he play with zero guaranteed money - I am skeptical. Add in Clark has no guaranteed money left, and an $11mm roster bonus due on Friday, and they have to do something there. And Williams has only $5mm in guaranteed money (increases to $7.656mm on 5th day of league year), and he will want a new deal as well.

Jerry keeps trading for everyone's contract issues and is signing up to give guys 3rd contracts into their 30s...

I think we all know Jerry Jones isn't have a long term plan and is playing checkers, not chess.

That said, and I'll get roasted for this, he does have an eye for talent. Dallas is not a team bereft of talent and they seldom are. They could factor into the back end of the playoff picture next year.

Bit under the radar

Well, you're likely going to have to give him a new deal, so...sorry bud

Lane is on his last legs. Dickerson and Jurgens are question marks. Who knows what's happening with AJ Brown? Dean is likely gone. Blank and Goedert are potentially gone. Mukuba may have issues (though I'm not concerned) with the ankle. Carter might have lingering, ongoing issues with the shoulders.

We were extremely lucky to win the amount of games we did last year in many ways. I don't think 9 wins (give or take) is that ludicrous and I would agree Sirianni at minimum would be gone.

Jerry should have fully leaned into the Parsons trade rather than attempted to compensate for it. But he had too much pride. They could have tanked, traded Pickens, maybe even floated Dak...taken a huge cap hit while tanking, and amassed one of the greatest draft hauls with which to rebuild since their own Herschel Walker trade. Instead, he's going to trade for every big name vet possible to undo the ego hit he took from having to trade Parsons.

Or release him after this year if it doesn’t work out. Dead money will belong to GB…unless they restructure, at least that’s what I have read. I hope I’m completely wrong on him. The one positive thing I see happening right now is the FO appears to be letting CP go to work and getting guys he wants, and I’ll give CP the benefit of the doubt, he was hired for a reason let’s see what he can do.

Pickens situation is going to be a problem, especially if Pierce gets paid 30m. They can’t pay him what the market will ask. I’ve read that he is happy to play on the tag this year if it comes down to it because it’s guaranteed. I honestly hope someone else picks him up and DAL gets two firsts…problem is I don’t think anyone will do that.

It’s starting to look like JJ was serious when he said he has to borrow from the future, I’m getting the sense that he is leveraging everything for the next two years and then a complete rebuild that will take years.

It's not a lot in a vacuum but it's pretty funny the guy put out that he was getting released and the Packers still managed to get that much out of Dallas.

Every year we hear about how this will be Dallas' year!

Seriously? I’m just talking football, about any team, any player. That’s all I’ve ever done here. Keeping up with a division rival with some like minded people, sharing info. WTH man. I’m not talking 💩 just put me on ignore.
