March 9Mar 9 Would try to get Greenard for a 4th. Since Gary went for that, I think both have similar value. Greenard may be a bit better, but Gary is younger.

March 9Mar 9 Eagles had the 2nd lowest cap invested in the defense last season. I would imagine we see a good amount of money go towards the defense over the next 2 seasons and the offense will be a heavy focus of the draft.
March 9Mar 9 Reports: Eagles want a 1st and 2nd round pick for AJ BrownJosina days later: I'm told Eagles may be ok with a 1st and 2nd round pick for AJ Brown
March 9Mar 9 Of course the Eagles would be more interested in a 2027 1st since this year's is 31st overall. She's acting like the Eagles are like "ugh... FINE... we'll settle for a 2027 1st..."

Howie has to be sitting back like screw this. They don't need a splash move. They need smart 2nd level guys to compliment their stars and fill holes competently.

March 9Mar 9 If Howie's going to trade AJ, just wait. Post June 1st is worth it, there's no reason to rush to do it now unless a team is going to overpay. As WR free agents get signed, his value goes up.If they keep him this season, Howie should be telling AJ to put on a good show on and off the field in the new offense, drive his trade value up and value for getting the new contract he's going to want. Everyone wins.

I know he was coming off injury but that's a crazy contract. It's probably the worst contract in the NFL, and I even like the player and wanted to bring him back. At 30 million I'm not even remotely mad at Howie for not re-signing him, and I'm not even remotely made at Phillips for leaving.

Or we could play him at NCB and move Coop outside. Based on Vic and Howie's comments, I doubt plan A is moving Coop outside, but again - provides flexibility at a minimal cost.
