It's not like the Eagles don't have 2 starting Edge players. I know some are down on Nolan Smith and they DO need to add someone. But they have Smith and Hunt, it's not like they lost 2 of them.

I'd like to see a draft pick added to the mix there.

Its a projection, to see if he can remain good once the league has seen him enough.

If he is actually good, thats a bargain for a starting QB. Hes played better than Hurts and comes much cheaper.

They had Smith last year too. And since he stinks, the trade became necessary.

Smith is not to be relied on. For both health, AND performance reasons.

Agree. Which is why I said they DO need to add someone, and I'd like to see them draft one (perhaps FA and draft both).

Don’t pay any edge draft it, pay our young talent.

I don't dislike Nolan but he is kinda smaller for edge imo...

We should sign Freddie Mitchell or Todd Pinkston to be our #8 WR. Splash move!!

I liked Jalen Phillips but dude had 5 sacks last year. I know he was coming off injury but that's a crazy contract.

He's got his own injury issues...4 out of 8 seasons with 8 games or fewer.

He doesn’t finish plays is my biggest issues. Good at generating lots of Mamulas

The bad part is losing the player not that they didn't match the offer. I don't think the Eagles should have matched that offer, it's ridiculous. But he was an important player to keep and they couldn't get it done. And if the pass rush sucks next season no one will be saying "It's all good, this is fine because we couldn't match Phillips." All they'll care about is the pass rush sucks. They need a pivot and a big one. Edge is their biggest need of the offseason right now... in an offseason where they need to get younger and cheaper on offense.
