March 26Mar 26 I'd do Garrett for this and next years first and something lower but wouldn't feel great about it.Ideal scenario would be 2026 1st, Nolan Smith and like a 3rd
March 26Mar 26 The more mock sims I conduct, the more I'm thinking a trade down scenario looks like the best move unless someone like Ioane or Thieneman falls into the 20s.

He would instantly make this defense elite. I can’t say the same about Carter both in health and attitude. Carter when he’s on is a stud but if I can get Garret? Maaannn. If Crosby is worth 2 fists than Garret is worth like 9. 😄

Hopefully one of them would take 23 and 54.Also why does everyone love Iloane but not Proctor? Proctor I think would be a phenomenal guard

March 26Mar 26 According to Schefter, Garrett isn't going anywhere and he goes into detail regarding conversations he has had with the Browns about the option $ movement:ESPNSchefter: Myles Garrett contract modification done for ca...Adam Schefter joins Pat McAfee and reports the Browns are not trading Myles Garrett, with the modification in his contract language being done for cap flexibility.I guess if someone called the Browns and offered a king's ransom they might change their mind.

But a player at a premium position would have the same exact rookie contract - which would be even more money-saving versus an open market price.I agree but if the premium position player isn't as talented, then there's no cost savings. The cost savings is only realized if you think the player is likely to succeed and become an above average player.
