The pick makes sense from a need perspective but I don’t think Simpson is a great prospect. On the other hand, it is not like there’s a big difference maker in this draft. So it’s a relatively low cost in terms of opportunity loss.

This is a bigger FU to Stafford after winning MVP than it was when the Eagles drafted Hurts in the 2nd round after Wentz signed his new deal and won the division.

The Jets seem like a logical trade up spot for Howie, I'd watch the Jets. And maybe McKee is involved?

THey don't need an OT, they need WR and a good WR could be there at 23 for them.

with the 13th pick? The guy has some ????'s. The Rams are saying their team is set...for a hungry SB contender in a very tough division...that is quite a luxury pick.

Stafford just won MVP and they went to the NFC Championship Game. It's a major move for the future at the big expense to a roster and QB that is right there in contention for a Super Bowl and and by trading up and taking a QB at 13 it really neglects all of that for the future.

Jets kept the pick. No trade up ahead of Lions. We'll see if Lions go Freeling.
