Realizing it belonged to the guy before me I looked to see if he was still around and he was pulling into the AAA store next door so I was going to take care of my transaction then go give him his cash. When I turned back the screen was asking me if I wanted to print a receipt or return card (his card was still in the machine) so I hit return card, deposited my check, then quickly drove to the AAA store to give him his card and cash. He was inside on his cell phone and it took him a minute to realize that the card and cash that I was holding up in his face were his. After realizing what happened he was extremely grateful. I got to thinking about if afterwards and wondered if I'd handled it the right way. Should I have just taken everything into the bank and gave it to them or was I right to go find the guy at his next stop and give it to him there? I'm sure it was less hassle for him that he didn't have to go back to the bank but he'd obviously screwed up his transaction and I don't need to be blamed for any shenanigans with his account when all I did was take the cash and card and give it back to him. Times yours.Was he really, really, really high?

April 1Apr 1 So I get coffee at wawa this afternoon and three young women are putting lids on their sodas. One snaps the lid on, the other two are struggling. I said "Did you get a left handed lid?" The two girls look at me with skepticism and I point to their friend "She got the left hand cup with the left hand lid." They went back, got new lids which snapped on, smiled and thanked me. I've never been happier in my entire life.

I had a buddy on my ship in Scotland (no, really). 1st full day I was in Scotland, didn't know anyone, walked over to the base to get dinner and a drink and I saw this guy who I recognized from muster that morning as being in my division. He looked lost, kept looking in his wallet and cussing, so I walked over and asked him what was wrong. He told me he'd just gone to the ATM, took out some cash, but forgot to take his card out afterwards and the person behind him cleaned out his account. I felt bad for him, bought him some beers and we were buddies after that. That one was a clear case of stupidity. Good guy but not very bright.

April 9Apr 9 It's a Pet Peeve, but it grinds my gears when a non handicap person parks in a handicap parking spot.This dude at my gym will do this. He's perfectly fine and capable. He parks in a handicap spot, gets out of his car, goes to his car's trunk, takes out a "foot boot", puts it on one of his feet, and then walks into the gym. 😏😏
April 20Apr 20 I don't mind doing laundry, because I like to have clean clothes, bed sheets, bath towels, etc...But, man, I HATE folding laundry. 😝😝
