Pederson, like Reid, has a track record of finishing strong, with the bye week to prepare, the walking wounded returning, I expect a much better team in the second half than the first half of the season. No one on the schedule intimidates me, when this team is on, they can beat anyone. But you're gonna struggle when your OL is Mailata - Herbig - Kelce - Pryor - Toth as we saw at one point. And when you're throwing to Hightower, Ward, JJAW and Rodgers and running Scott/Clements. The return of Sanders and Reagor is huge, two young playmakers defenses have to respect, while Fulgham is that "diamond in the rough" that allows QBs to sleep at night.

They have the second half to fix issues and get on a roll, with the division a joke, Pederson doesn't have to make desperation moves, he can focus on improving the team and setting them up for a playoff run, especially the last four games.

Right now the Eagles are a definite favorite to win the division but I wouldn’t be shocked if Football Team is the last man standing. That’s how bad the Eagles, specifically Wentz, have been.

If they lose to the Giants and Wentz plays bad. He should be benched vs Cleveland. For the record, I’m far from done with Wentz. He’s got at least through 2021 imo

One more issue is that they did not have a full pre-season to get everyone in sync and establish chemistry.  The constant churning of players in and out of line-up is also a factor to set back any progress.  Now with half of a season under the belt and key players returning, things should look up for the team to play more consistently.

Honestly, none of this matters if Wentz doesn't take care of the ball. His fumbling has nothing to do with chemistry.

He has been my top qb from day one, and he will go first rd.

I would take him qb 2,and not far behind Lawrence

You can't have it both ways, dude.

What if we made a new type of glue to help him hold on to the ball?

Then I’d worry about his release.

1a 1b , if pressed give me Wilson

Desmond Ridder is a 3rd rd area QB I like.

Zach Wilson might get drafted in the first round next year.

👍 I don't live in utah anymore so don't see him play week to week but I still follow byu as much as I can but Zach has looked legit this year His OC was at LSU a few years ago and brought a lot of those same offensive concepts to byu, Zach struggled with some injuries last couple years and picking up a new offense and he's been lights out this year and put up a 50 burger against a ranked Boise St team yesterday

This Sunday’s game between WAS and NYG will be very telling for the NFCE because WAS is the only team IMO that can take the division over the Eagles.  Rivera might regret losing the first matchup by going for 2 points rather than going to OT.

If WAS loses again, and assuming that DAL loses to PIT, the Eagles will have a one-and-a-half game lead at the halfway point — and the lead at 3-4-1 over 2-6 is a bigger lead than 6-1-1 is over 5-3, because the team at 5-3 would continue to win games.  If WAS loses again to the Giants I believe it’s a fair question to ask if anyone in the division other than the Eagles will get past 5-11.  That would mean the Eagles need only two wins the rest of the year to win the division.

I agree, If WAS wins on Sunday to go to 3-5 then it will be a two-team contest (can’t say race) for the division.  I still see the Eagles winning the division at 7-8-1

Because of the tie, we just need to match wins with WFT.

Well, ASU has gone back to a 4-3 defense.

We have some damn good LBs who will be in the NFL to keep an eye on the next couple years.

The OL play this year has made me think G or G/C is a priority in the draft.  I think Driscoll will be a fine G but we need more.   I am wondering if Tyler Linderbaum might be a solution.  He reminds me a bit of Kelce.  Would enable them to leave Seumalo at G and, if Brooks returns to form give them depth on the OL with Mailata and possibly Wanogho as swing Ts, Driscoll and Herbig as G/Cs.

Still think WR and DE are bigger priorities. LB and RB are too but they won’t use a first of either of those.

No matter who the Eagles replace Kelce with, it’ll be a downgrade. And that’s OK.

This is coming.

Can the Eagles do that with Alshon?!   🤔

Merlin Robertson needs to be a LB for the Eagles.

That is all.

Zeke won't play tomorrow. Hamstring. Dallas enters full on tank mode.

Yes, the Eagles will ensure Alshon doesn't make the trip to Washington also.

Not in the first couple rounds. With Seumalo, Driscoll, Brooks, Herbig and pssibly Dillard on board, Opeta and Juriga as a projects to be molded by Stoutland.

Too many higher priorities.

The IOL is one of the strengths of this draft.  You are over projecting Herbig, Opeta and Juriga, IMHO.  I want BPA, but in terms of need, I think that is CB, LB, S, IOL, and DE.  If the BPA is clearly in those areas, draft him.  Brooks, Kelce, Lane are long in the tooth.  Lane may be solved with Mailata but if the Kelce solution is Seumalo, then we need another G, besides Brooks’ replacement.   Now, Slay is getting older, McLeod has one more year and LB is a need regardless.   So those should be focuses too.  Good news is that accept for LB, which isn’t devoid of talent and good in the mid rounds, this is a strong draft for CB, IOL, S.   Yes, we need a back up RB.  Yes, more WR depth and TE (not a great TE draft) depth but play to the strengths. G/C is a strength and with C a strength last year, a C may slip.

I don't know how someone watches last season and this season and doesn't come away with Oline being the #1 priority

Kelce may retire, Brooks and Lane seem to get injured a lot, and the team can't say no to Peters
