yes they haven’t had as good of running backs over last couple years. Some of that is due the design of the team of why spend the money on running back when you have a quarterback that is capable of carrying you and you can go with a lesser running back because he’s good enough to overcome that where is Alex Smith is not. Roster construction of the team changed due to the ability and talent of Patrick Mahomes to save money on that aspect and put it into other aspects like their defense. And also due to kareem hunt getting kicked off the team in mahomes first year starting  (Actually hunt with mahomes was on pace for 1200 yards and 10 tds about 100 rushing yards below his 2017 numbers but his receiving number pace were about 100 yards more)

Do I think he’s the greatest quarterback ever? No I never said that. However if people don’t want to believe he is a great quarterback and it’s just a weapons around him that make him great that is a bunch of baloney. Let’s not pretend Tom Brady didn’t have his best season with guys like Randy moss and Wes Welker or gronk/Hernandez or Peyton Manning didn’t have Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Dallas Clark and Edgerrin James. Like all of them are great and all of them got to showcase their greatness because they also had very good weapons around them when they were at their peaks. 

What I am, is tired of hearing about Patrick Mahomes.  I'm also tired of hearing about Tom Brady... he's not the GOAT, never was, never will be.  Cheaters don't get that kind of title.  The Greatest players don't have to cheat.

If I’m the saints and I’m up 31-0 heading into the 4th I’m not even playing my major guys and risking an injury like Thomas, kamara or brees. At that point no way the bucs are coming back and scoring 31 in 15 mins if i run the clock like i should.

Well...looks like Tom Brady is having one of his worst games out of his 20+ year career....don't get to see this too often. 

Bucs OL can't block the Saints DL to save their lives, and now that they have to drop back and pass every play, they're completely toast.

At the beginning of the year I thought the Saints were the best team in the NFC. They just haven’t had everyone on offense on the field at the same time and their defense tonight looks light years better than they have all season. It just feels like getting Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders back on the field is such a huge boost to that team overall

Their schedule besides the chiefs is super favorable. Likely favorites on all of their last 8 games besides chiefs

I think it was @eagle45 who posted the Michael Gallup comp. That seems realistic at this stage, with Thomas obviously the ceiling. 
 

 

Not sure why the saints even have guys in there like kamara, Thomas and brees up 31 with 13 mins left. It’s like you are asking karma to bite you in the butt. Then again dbag as a head coach makes some sense
